➤Leon grew up in the suburbs of New York City, generally living as a normal kid with parents that loved him and an estranged older brother that was never spoken of. For the first twelve years of his life, he was just a city boy with a few friends and a conventional existence. But when his parents both died in a car accident on the way home from a business trip, he was left completely alone, or at least that's what he had thought. The older brother that Leon had only ever heard whispers about was there when no one else was able to take him in. Liam was a newfound rock in his newly turbulent world.

Liam was eight years his senior and was already established as the boss of a fairly large gang in the underbelly of NYC. Of course, Leon wasn't told this, not at first. Liam did his best to raise his kid-brother without exposing him to the life he led, well at least the more brutal aspects. But Leon was sharp, his mind worked it out by himself and soon he was joining the gang as his brother's self-proclaimed right-hand man. Things were looking up, in an odd twisted way: yes he was now living a life of destruction, thievery, murder, and all sorts of criminal activity, but he had a family. One that would fight for him tooth and nail, one that would die for him.

At the age of nineteen, Leon was adept at fighting, both with a weapon and without. He knew enough to keep himself out of trouble but that didn't stop him from having a unique run-in with a fire elemental. Leon didn't have the first idea of anything supernatural existing in the world, he was just a human after all. But the night he went out to find some trouble, well he found it and discovered that myths weren't make believe. It was a cold night, he had already been agitated, by what he couldn't remember, he got agitated too often to remember everything that set him off. He was walking in an unfamiliar part of town, definitely not his turf. But he was looking for a fight, so when he came upon a man in the middle of a sea of broken and bloody men, he was raring to go. Without missing a step, he threw a witty insult at the figure, the man's rage being directed at Leon. So he squared up, daring the man to throw the first punch, taking an unexpectedly fast blow to the stomach. It was a mere moment later and they were tussling with each other, exchanging blows like letters. It was only when he had the man pinned that the unexpected occurred: the other guy lit up in searing flames that scorched his arms. All Leon could process was the pain and that he had to stop whatever was hurting him. So he withdrew his knife and pierced the man's heart in one swift motion. It was as if the chest cavity opened and fire erupted forth, engulfing him in the flame. But it didn't scorch him as he expected: it merged inside of him and the sheer force of the blaze knocked him back, embers flaring into the darkened sky. It seemed like days later before he could move, even longer before he managed to stumble home. Half of him wasn't surprised when he discovered that he could summon fire from his arms shortly thereafter, the other half convinced it was a dream. When Liam found him staring at his hands on fire, his first reaction was to try and put him out. Of course, it didn't matter, Leon wasn't in pain from it, in fact, he felt enlivened from it. He felt better. Liam saw the opportunity and molded the man into something capable of extreme damage and death: an unstoppable force. But Leon still can't control his flames well and a high amount of any emotion can cause his flames to burst into existence.

With The Wings

🔥Occupation:
➤ Being a full time gang member, O'Connor doesn't do much in the ways of work besides carrying out jobs the boss hands out and general thievery/burglary. He once tried to be a cashier at a nearby weapon's store but that didn't work out for very long when his employer discovered who he was.

🔥Education:
➤ He went to public school for a while before his parents died. From then on, his older brother Liam began home schooling him, being adamant that Leon not be naive nor an idiot when it came to common sense. He made sure Leon had a decent amount of book smarts and a shit ton of street smarts. Liam didn't like public schools and believed them to be a waste of time, which is why he taught his kid-brother himself. Leon is actually pretty intelligent and has a curious mind because of it, always willing to learn and be taught something new (at least for as long as his patience persists).
