➣PHOENIX REINCARNATION ▪ The very nature of the phoenix is that it can reincarnate after death an infinite number of times. It makes them effectively immortal and they remember lives passed and old friends for centuries or millennia. Athanasia is not so lucky. Being a half-breed, she is unable to reincarnate infinitely. She has a finite number of deaths that she is able to sustain. Furthermore, her memories and personality are wiped each time, no memory of who she was before death and rebirth. Each rebirth, she is hatched from an egg anew.

➣FIRE IMMUNITY ▪ The very fire aspect of the Phoenix makes them immune to the flames. Athanasia is no exception to this. She is completely impervious to flame of any kind. Her body runs at a hotter temperature than normal, her surface temperature operating at 42°C (107.6°F) as a normal apparent body temperature for her. Her blood sits upwards around 650°C (1200°F), capable of scorching surfaces. Thanks to the heat resistant nature of her skin, she isn't too hot to touch and does not burn anyone on contact. She is just warm. She deals well in cold (though dislikes cold) and hot weather.

➣VOLATILE BLOOD ▪ Due to her very nature, Athanasia's blood is volatile. While on its own, it will burn and scorch surfaces, when mixed with explosive compounds or chemicals, it alters the state of the chemical or compound, enhancing its effects three-fold.

➣COLD VULNERABILITY ▪ While the cold does not bother Athanasia, inflicting damage from cold sources does. It reacts negatively with her normally hot body, rapidly cooling her when wounded, causing her to slow and tire easily. The other side is if the damage is inflicted by ice or water, contact with her blood will cause a steam eruption, making her wounds worse.

➣FLIGHT ▪ (Ability Restricted)Athanasia is capable of flight, though due to wing restraints, she is unable to fly. Her wings are plenty strong enough to loft her into the air and carry her long distances.

➣ENGULF ▪
(Ability Restricted) Athanasia can engulf herself in flame. This ability is not known to her and its potential can be explored, should the right master come along that can manage the phoenix hybrid. This ability is up for discussion on whether it ever gets explored or not.
