Biography
You play the hand life deals you. Snezano was proof of that much. Born to a poor family of Aoni exiles, on edge of the 10th Ring. Both his parents worked -- Mother serving tavern tables, Father throwing freight at warehouses -- leaving him to pretty much mind the home as a young child. So much time made him a good observer of the people around him. He noticed especially, how when ends couldn’t meet on honest work alone, his mother and father had more dubious means of making money. The same money that put food on their table and kept the landlord at bay. Beginning as a need, this developed into a love of wealth -- all its symbols and trappings -- that would drive his successes and failures.Working hard at the freight yard as an adolescent, culturing a reputation much like his father, he played twice as hard at shifts end. up, directing their tirades away from crazier schemes and shadier characters that could After a time, he found himself attracted to true-blue rabble rousers; specifically one group of young apprentices who acted the town hooligans in the lower rings. He never joined in more than he had to, prefering to manage the groups energies from the outer edges of the spectacle. Strangely enough, he became a calming influence on the grohave really caused trouble. Something that endeared him to the city guard of the 10th Ring (who were thankful for less chaos) and charmed the small business owners (who were glad their life’s work remained unscathed). This appreciation and reputation among the community was something carefully cultured, for a purpose. Which he finally called upon in pulling the strings to get him considered for the job of Town Crier in his home ring.
Fast forward 6 months, and we find our young Anoi making a minor success of himself. His current position was not his aspiration however, as he had dreams of flying to greater heights. A wish of making something he's only seen in his dreams: a publication of his spoken words that would last forever; containing ideas, feelings and passions that could be shared beyond the reach of his crier's voice.
Personality
Zano is a hopeful pessimist. The city of 12 Rings was all he knew of the world -- his only glimpse of his ancestral homeland was garnered from stories from his mother and father, who as exiles, hadn't much kindness to spare toward the Costal colonies. Growing up tough and rough, he learned to appreciate the ability to get wealth, prestige and status by any means on both sides of the law. Though he acknowledge that outright illegal acts caused more harm than good to reputation; after all if something could be gotten without coming into conflict with the law, all the better. He learned about power, and its rules, in his command of his peers and the younger apperintinces. But also its subtleness in relating with the business owners and guards -- big fish in a small pond of success, that he hoped to dominate himself one day.
