    Just who was Cypress? Other than being known for her criminal endeavors, there were a few rumors that circulated about the woman in the few hundred years she'd been a staple among New Blaine's community. One speculation was that Cypress was no more than a title handed from one woman to the next as they retired, or their protégée ascended through questionable means. This theory was backed up by the fact that she rarely made appearances in public, as well as never using her legitimate name. Other, more far fetched ones, presumed she was some undying creature.
