If hindsight is 20/20, Percival was probably an optometrist in another life. With brains, brawn, and more luck than sense, before the Sidewinders, Percy was little more than a rebel without a cause. What good is a knight with no round table? What fun is a quest with no holy grail? Before, he was the angry clack of a keyboard behind a glowing computer screen. He was furrowed brows over eyes that saw constellations in the circuits of a motherboard. He was balled fists and bloody knuckles, ready to topple the very institution that towered over his own head. But now? Percy is, well...still Abbadon’s resident pessimist and friendly neighborhood stick-in-the-mud. What can I say? It's not easy being green.

Has returned to Abbadon and taken up the Sidewinders mantle all on his own.

Refuses to take anything he perceives as a handout.

Takes great care to remain largely off the grid.

Supplements his bad habit with synthetic nicotine patches. A lot of them. All over.

P R O M E T H E A N

Despite the life of privilege he lead as a child, Percival's parents raised him to have a good head on his shoulders. Being especially fond of his father, one of Titan's most knowledgeable historians, the Promethean's love of academia bloomed at an early age. Discovering his son had an aptitude for astronomy, the scholar nurtured his boy's love of starmapping, guiding the young prodigy with a firm but gentle hand. And, when not being tutored by the head of their household, Percy trained arduously under his mother's watchful eye in the ritualistic practices of their people. He blossomed, head bound by science and heart guided by religion, into an aspiring, ambitious young man; a Promethean worthy of his family's pride. But alas, the trajectory of those lofty goals would end up more than just a little off course when all was said and done...

Prometheans are a dying breed. For this reason, those that remain are incredibly secretive about all aspects of their existence, both as an individual, and as a community at large. What you read here is solely for the sake of disclosure. Otherwise, the information stated below would not be public knowledge.
Dead Shedding

You know how they say cats have nine lives? Well, Prometheans have an (indeterminate) number of reincarnations that encompass a single lifetime. Females are presumed to have a higher count than males, as the race's culture is built around a matriarchal society. One's consciousness remains, but appearances are subject to change. It's unknown what number "respawn" Percival is currently on.

Preferred Form

Currently, Percy can only change to one specific figure on command. His chosen form, a four armed humanoid, is how the Promethean prefers to present himself, unless being human is necessary to blend in. Should he need to don a disguise, however, these additional arms are easily retracted.

THAT'S WHY WE'RE HERE

A mysterious group responsible for obstructing Alpha Corp.'s efforts to snatch newcomers on arrival in the Mobius Strip Galaxy. Distrustful of the corporation's motives, their intervention is aimed to prevent the creation of future androids from living organisms while partaking in a little heroism of their own accord. Abbadon is a big place, but they know the planet like the back of their hands and are well equipped to deal with its unique environmental hazards.

As the most recent addition to the team, and a previous Alpha Corp. operative, Percival still struggles with feeling truly accepted by the Sidewinders. Not because his cohorts haven't made him feel welcome, but because he does not believe he deserves their trust and loyalty. While it will undoubtedly take some time for Percy to fully relax and settle into his role, that makes him no less of an asset as a comrade in arms.

CONTRIBUTIONS

- Volunteered information on Alpha Corp. upon joining the team.
- Custom built foodratrs and tronslatrs for Jethro and Modry.
- Improved the Notorious R.I.G.'s cloaking technology.
- Integrated self destruct sequencing onto all team Commlinks.

- Has debugged Jethro on several occasions (IRL porn viruses?)

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Updating Jethro's software on a monthly basis.

- Monitoring all known Alpha Corp. channels of communication.
- Ensuring surveillance and security always remain online.
- Navigating and recording the minutes for all missions.
- Feeding and watering Lucy, Modry's piranha plant.
- (Begrudgingly) Housing Marvin the Kakapo.
- Cleaning. Because no one else does it right.

SHORTCOMINGS

Jethro's predecessor, the former Green and previous leader of the Sidewinders, was killed during reconnaissance to a Alpha Corp. outpost where Percival was stationed. His recruitment then, a final order from the team's late captain, felt like salt in the wound. Now, Percy blames himself and believes that Jeth hates him too. He harbors a great deal of survivor's guilt for this reason, among others...

G R E E N

Those with the Thinker (Green) personality style tend to be mentally active, constantly questioning and pondering.
