• Description

  murdoc niccals : demon bassist of the world famous band GORILLAZ.
  
  i. murdoc’s most striking feature in his opinion are his eyes. he has heterochromia iridis, which means his right eye is brown and his left eye is naturally a deep red. he needs to wear glasses, which he loathes and has ignored for most of his life. however, in around about 2007, he began to wear prescription contact lenses, and started covering his red eye.
  
  ii. murdoc’s hair is and always been a mess to maintain, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. as i’ve mentioned before ; it’s thick and curly and needs to be straightened a lot, but in his opinion it never really looks bad, just not what he was aiming for. that being said – he literally never goes out without making sure his hair looks perfect, and the only people who have seen him before he’s styled it are the band, and his family.
  
  contrary to popular belief, his hair isn’t greasy. yes ; sometimes ( read : often ) he doesn’t bathe, but he always makes sure he washes his hair at least once a day because it’s too chaotic otherwise. half of the time he just washes it in the sink of his winnebago. it’s also really very soft, but if you touch it he’ll literally stab you. no touching. touching his is the fastest way to make him loathe and distrust someome and has completely ruined one night stands and meetings with fans.
  
  iii. there’s never been a time in his life where he hasn’t had a small frame. ( his brother always affectionately called him a runt. ) he has strong arms and a chubby stomach, which has never bothered him. he started taking t in late 1998 and had chest surgery during phase two, which left him feeling significantly more confident about his body, which he made obvious by often performing in just a cape and his underwear.
  
  iv. as his nose has been broken about nine times, he finds it extremely hard to breathe through it and as a result only breathes through his mouth. this has caused him several sleeping problems and will often wake up and panic if anything covers his mouth and prevents him from breathing properly. despite the fact that his nose has been broken so many times, he’s not ‘ ugly ‘. he’s just not conventionally attractive.
  
  v. he stands at 5′2″ ; something he is extremely insecure about. he often lies about his height and wears heels with insoles to seem taller because unfortunately, he only knows about three other men who are shorter than him. he is also a size nine and a half, which he’s extremely smug about. it’s immature, but he loves it. his favourite type of shoes are cuban heels, and if you ever see him without them then it can mean one of three things : he’s feeling depressed ; he couldn’t find his boots for some reason ; or he stole someone’s shoes to be annoying.
  
  vi. despite what he’d have you believe, he actually doesn’t have any tattoos. he’s had all of them drawn on in marker pen at some point in time.
  
  vii. his taste in clothes has varied over the years, but has always been simple. he likes warm jumpers ( because he’s usually cold ) and simple jeans, as well as dramatic, swirling capes that make him look mysterious. he also sometimes wears lace, mesh and chiffon crop tops, because he knows how to dress to make himself look good. on rare occasions he wears corsets, but that time only comes about once or twice a year on its own unless he’s trying to please a partner.
