  Name: Shattering Sun
  
  Size: Nine feet tall, four inches thick at the shaft. Bladed head spans two feet in diameter (not including spines).
  
  Weight: 180lbs
  
  Materials:
  
  Shaft- Thick steel pole is an inch and a half thick, painted an onyx color.
  
  Head- Formed by way of dragon bone and scale, dragon teeth and claws make up the back bulb, sharp to the touch. Steel top has the garnish of an eye while metal 'beak' curves up and outwards. The end of the blade is serrated and devastating if it connects to a body at a high velocity. It is attached to the shaft by way of three nook snaps outlining the flat top of the shaft.
  
  Chain- Attached to thick tether wire within the shaft, the chain is heavy and difficult to break. It connects to the head and extends up to seven feet.
  
  How it works: Head is detached through a high velocity swing. Snaps are forced to release which sends the head flying in the direction Oboron thrusts. Once it either connects or reaches its limit to extend, tether wire grows taut and snaps the chain back through a series of pulleys located in the shaft. Wheeling it back in, the head will collide with the shaft hard enough to reconnect snaps to shaped nooks.
  
  Pendant: When not in battle, the shattering sun can be found in pendant form around Oboron's neck. Due to the sheer weight of the item it is shrunk using an enchantment where it lies dormant and in wait. Only Oboron can conjure the item to its full size, and if he falls in battle it returns to the beaded necklace immediately.

• Armor

  While not a spec in his actual arena stats, the armor he wears is capable of absorbing or lessening some blows when they happen. (Entirely dependent on dice rolls)
  
  Chest: Wide leather straps crisscross over his chest, buckled and studded. These are used to keep his posture firm when wielding the shattering sun and to help ease back pain.
  
  Arms: Thick leather bracers are firmly strapped to his arms, accompanied by fingerless gloves. Bracers are studded with several rows of sharpened points.
  
  Waist: Firm raw hide kilt is strapped to his waist falling just above his knees. Also studded, the heavy garment can be difficult to slice through with ordinary weapons. This depends on how heavy the initial strike is.
  
  Groin: If there is one area he protects the most, it is his groin. Metal plate is padded on the inside and around the edges to prevent cutting or chafing. This is worn over his loins at all times, and does well to absorb kicks or punches. The only time this could be challenged is in the arena with a heavy hitting dice roll aimed for the area.
