  I always think it's pretty good to know what someone's writing style is like - here's a couple snippets from past roleplays.
  
  Davey glanced up when he heard someone talking to him, blinking at the giant upside-down mess of hair for a moment before he found the guy's face. Heh, kind of like if a Sasquatch and Cousin It had a kid, but... cuter, actually. He snorted. "Nahh, I'm fine, just- just tap on her shoulder," he told him, patting the dude's chest amicably before pointing in the general direction of the goth chick across the room. She was laughing pretty hard at Davey, but it didn't seem like it was registering to him that she wasn't trying to flirt. His head snapped up when he felt his foot kick something and heard a smash, leaning over the side of the bar to see what it was - looked like it used to be some kind of porcelain. "Oh, fuck, di'that look expensive?"

  Davey laughed at the comment about his super intense image, a dumb little giggly laugh that seemed to bubble out of him. He wasn't sure he had a particularly intense image to fucking anyone, his image was a bit closer to 'that midget faggot over there,' unless he was piss drunk and beating the fuck out of someone. He nodded at the last few sentences, though, holding the cigarette over the ledge for a moment and tapping it to get the ash off. "I dunno, I think I've got a good appreciation for all of it. You can't just stick with one, that's boring, not to mention kind of counter to the whole point of punk - I mean, if you're just playing the same noise and it all sounds the same, how's that rebellion?" He took a drag and exhaled before continuing, waving his hands in the air as he talked - his Philly accent stood out more than usual in Manchester, a funny little edge to his words even as he underpronounced them. "When everyone's playing guitars, the punkest thing to do is buy a synthesizer."
