• â—„Basic

  Given Name • Many a name have been gifted to him since birth. He will answer to whatever his betters seem fit to dub him. However, recent years have seen that one name in particular passes with him from place to place and owner to owner: Dionysis.
  
  Nickname(s) • Just as it is with names, Dionysis will be referred to with varying 'endearments' within a single household. A common, recurring nickname is Dion. Sometimes, he is referred to as Pet.
  
  Age • He was born to a breeding house, traded to another just as he had learned to walk, and then sold to a slaving establishment shortly after. Somewhere along the line, his birth records were lost. The best estimate puts him in his mid-20s to early-30s.
  
  Sex / Gender • Dionysis was born male and has never exhibited anything less than the typical masculine tendencies appropriate for his station.
  
  Species / Breed • Though humanoid in overall appearance, Dionysis is, without a doubt, a member of the equine family. Both parents were stock at the same Akhal-Teke breeding farm in which he was born. He is purebred.

  Build • Dion is of a broad frame. He is lean and his muscle definition makes him appear as if he was carved from a marble slab. His form is best described as athletic.
  
  Details • From head to toe, he stands at six feet, seven inches tall. Depending on the amount of light available, Dionysis appears to be of either a black or bay coat color. His hair is auburn, long, wavy, and with strands either twisted or plaited at random. His eyes are the color of warm gold. Of all his adornments, the ones least likely to change are the piercings in his nipples and lower lip.
  
  Drawbacks • Aside from his height and build making it difficult for him to squeeze in to tight spaces, Dionysis has no obvious physical drawbacks.
  
  Infliction(s) • He remains completely unscathed. For the sake of his value or possible resale, any punishment or strikes laid upon him in sport are designed to avoid leaving a mark.
  
  Defenses • To put it bluntly, Dion is built like a proverbial ox. He's tall, broad, and lined head-to-toe with muscle. He might not be one of the strongest creatures in existence, but his strength is nothing to overlook. Previous use for physical labor and a constant need to rush has helped to train Dion to be more agile than his form would normally allow. However, he has never been trained to fight despite having an interest in almost all forms of combat.
  
  Clothing • Usually in a variation of decorated sarongs, loincloths, and similar ensembles. It is common to see a scarf, wrap, or shawl accompany his outfit on any given day. There are times when he could be wearing more or much, much less; those instances, though, are not terribly frequent.
  
  Other Items • Regardless of his attire—or even a lack thereof—Dion wears a small arrangement of jewelry and some form of collar to ensure that everyone who rests eyes upon it know who it is he belongs to. He is very partial to gold but will wear whatever he is given or allowed to wear from the pieces that have passed along with him from previous owners. In addition to that, he will keep on his person whatever available accessories appropriately complement his attire.

  Feral / Cultured • Dionysis has been taught the ways of society. He is most assuredly cultured in all initial behavior. However, if told to conduct himself as an animal would, he will do his very best to oblige.

  Presentation • This one is prideful and it shows, despite the knowledge that he is inferior to any free person. He is always clean, dressed accordingly, and poised. One would think that too much pride in a slave is bad. However, Dionysis faithfully follows the notion that a slave with no pride or care for his or her self is no good to an owner. A slave who is confident in his ability to both serve and represent the house that is responsible for him is a slave that an owner can and will be proud of.
  
  Views • He is a born and bred harem slave. The only life Dion has ever known is the one he leads now. There are many free persons with lesser qualities of life, so he sees no reason to envy his social superiors their positions. He holds no disdain for rental clients or potential owners. The life of a slave suits him well, and Dion looks forward to every rental session and new owner wishing to collar him. For him, it's like the beginning of a new adventure and plenty of new jewelry.
  
  Attitude • There is rarely a moment when he conducts himself as anything other than a well-trained, obedient slave to his superiors. To his equals, he is oftentimes a gentleman with, perhaps, a bit of a narcissistic flare. Dion is neither boisterous nor too quiet and reserved but a perfect medium that is dependent on both circumstances and present company. Overall, Dionysis is welcoming and surrounds himself with the most pleasant air.
  
  Interests • Naturally, his main priority is to focus on the needs and wants of his charge. Most of Dionysis' actions are a direct reflection of that duty. Many that see the equine in action will get the impression that he cares for doing nothing else than making himself either an asset or something to boast of having within any household. However, he does have his own interests and occasionally a hobby he'll pick up for a short time. What does and does not catch his eye is something that must be discovered, as he is rarely keen on sharing without provocation to do so.
  
  Maintenance • Dionysis requires a moderate amount of upkeep. He is more than capable of tending to himself a good deal of the time, but strives under the watchful eye of a trainer or owner. Infrequent contact, a lack of occasional tasks to fill his time, and general negligence will leave Dion restless and irritable.
  
  Diet / Allergies • One of the best things about this creature is that he is easy to feed. Dionysis will eat just about anything. If the food Dionysis eats has a taste that is between bitter and delightfully bold, he is unlikely to complain so long as he is well fed. He is allergic to both strawberries and nuts.

  Rhetoric • Dion was taught several languages starting at a very young age. Of the lot, the one most often spoken is Common/English. When given the chance to do so, he thoroughly enjoys conversing in Arabic, Hindi, and Greek. He is well-acquainted with a handful of romantic, Germanic, and oriental languages. Though very well-spoken when allotted the opportunity to speak, he can benefit from learning new languages and rediscovering those he's had past experience with yet rarely finds use for.
  
  Literacy • Just as it was important for him to learn different languages, so was it for Dion to be otherwise educated. Dion does read and write. He has an educational background that is both extensive and the equivalent to that of a highly-knowledgeable free person. That is not to say he is a prodigal child or scholar in the making, but he is quite intelligent and it shows. Reading and writing in every language where he excels in the area of speech are also abilities he possesses.
  
  Magic • To date, Dion has no magical abilities to speak of. He has been exposed to magical creatures frequently enough to be familiar with the idea of them but wary of their abilities.
  
  Talents • Though he has been taught to do many things, Dionysis is lucky enough to have a few natural abilities. The most noticeable among them is dance, as a few lessons earlier on in his life reveal that he has a knack for it. He also has a keen eye for detail and a penchant for storytelling when appropriate.
  
  Learned • Dion has had his talents refined and been given an extensive education. Those two things have aided him well in learning what is required of him as a slave. Lectures regarding his station and showing proper respect have never been needed but are given regularly anyway. The equine's posture is virtually flawless, and he is quick to act on command without question. Previously taught slave positions: kneel, surrender, present, receive, dress, post, avert, bridge, bow. With each new master comes a new set of training, poses, and rules. Dionysis will always adapt accordingly and without much difficulty.

  Previous Usage • Dionysis is a fine example of what an obedient slave should be. Because of this, he has thrived as both a showpiece and coordinator for other slaves within a household. He has also been used for manual labor and pleasure at the discretion of his owner(s).
