    Bird in the golden cage, how do you sing? Do you sing for freedom? for love? for what? Or does it all fall upon deaf ears? Laurel was the youngest in a smaller, more docile pack. That believed wholly that the pen was mightier than the sword and the words held more power than brutish violence. Over time however their neighbors - a far more aggressive pack began to pick them apart one by one - forcing their hand to accept a -treaty- that only truly benefited those of power. It was from these actions that Laurel was forced to grow up, to shoulder that mantle of responsibility. It was from that she had to weaponize herself, her words - if not by violence than the slipping seductiveness of her word or slight of hand. She is charismatic, socially quipped and poised with such a look that belied her intelligible prowess
