• Personality
  Utterly secretive, someone who tends to conceal their feelings or doesn’t trust people easily. She has a knack of getting things done in her own way. It's just that she could be a little overconfident about her own choices (since she relies on her intuition so much) and that often gets her in trouble.
  
  Akane is fiercely independent. She's perfectly fine being on her own. In relationships (romantic or not), she likes having the upper hand but she’d willingly submit if she's really fond of the person. She's also faithful to those closest to her, making sure she'll stand by them as she promised.
  
  Alone, however, she's very emotional. Negative emotions of pessimism and resentment are her hallmarks. She has a fear of failure which she keeps hidden fairly well, so don't expect her to share her bad experiences because she's always proclaimed herself as the best.
  
  Background
  Akane wasn't always this assertive. With her constant cussing and brawling, it’s difficult to believe that she was a demure teenager once.
  
  When her mother died and her father long gone even before she turned a year old, she had no idea where to go. She began applying for small jobs such as handing out café flyers on the streets and it came to a point where she was offered a job as one of the girls inside the café. Of course, she was hesitant but to her it seemed like it was the only thing that could help herself and her younger sister. Her boss said that all she needed to do was to talk to customers and serve them food, simple lighthearted fun.
  
  Except it wasn’t always like that. Hidden services popped up eventually. Desperate, she ended up sleeping with men for cash. Akane was no longer the coy little girl she was before. She started smoking and even dabbled in drugs when times were too hard.
  
  She learned how to stand up for herself in the worst way possible. Drug-addled and highly frustrated, one of her clients gave her less than the negotiated price. So she took the man’s handgun and shot him right in the head. As soon as everything sunk in, she ran away only to be caught by an unknown man. He said he knew what happened and that people were after her already, he said he was there to help.
  
  Akane hid in his house for quite some time, mainly reading and watching the news as the authorities still looked for her. The man offered her a job to work for him and it didn’t involve any sexual advances at all. With no hesitation, she agreed. She then underwent rigorous training and was forced to change her look. Her long black hair gone, her petite figure grew in size and her lips no longer tinted pink. She became a contract killer by night and a motorcycle mechanic by day.
  
  Surely, it wasn’t easy at first but she got used to it after a while. It paid big but nightmares started haunting her, and the thought of how her mother would be absolutely disappointed always stayed at the back of her mind.
