• Tali

  Even among her peers, Tali has been considered a little strange, a little dangerous. The middle daughter of a noble family her destiny was to be married off, the arrangement made long before her own birth and intended to unite two powerful houses but not for Tali is life as a mere footnote in history. Having taken a break from her formal studies she has decided to tour far off lands, to learn a little more about what life has to offer, what can be seized, created and destroyed. To her kind she's a spoilt brat, a rich kid who gets her own way far too often. To others not used to the personalities common to her kind, she is a dangerous, callous and sadistic individual.
  
  She's almost always travelling light, never staying in one place for very long another personality quirk that distinguishes her from her people that she is quick to become bored, needing always something new, something to stimulate the senses. Whenever the local laws permit, (and frequently, when they do not) she will be carrying a hidden blade or two about her person. However, she is never without her staff, often it presents as an overly ornate affair with gold filigree and inset with skulls of small, possibly fictional, creatures. It's a powerful tool for the manipulation of magic that she is only partly in control of. It seems to have a little will of its own and will when no one is watching, change it's shape and appearance sometimes to better suit her environment or sometimes just to be annoying.
  
  Magically gifted, long-lived species do not tend to take on the kinda of interests that she has begun to cultivate. Normally a beings' helplessness against the march time and mortality are the main drivers towards necromancy and other, darker arts. Her kind feel a lesser pull to these expressions of magical talent but there is something artistic morbidly creative about the works that she produces but those first steps have been excitedly taken along a path that few turn back from.

• RP:- Seeking

  I'm looking to get Tali involved in any kind of continuity RP. She's going to be looking for ways to further her studies, either by learning from others or experimenting on 'volunteers'.
  
  Tali will have a keen interest in learning about other species, her kind is quite xenophobic so until her travels it was very rare for her to encounter anyone different, now she seeks them out.
  
  Away from her family and her people, she's had to learn to fend for herself. That means she will, possibly reluctantly, be taking on employment if someone is in need of her particular talents.
  
  Still only a novice in the Necromantic arts she's able to create small undead constructs with simple minds, maybe bring a beloved pet back from the grave or provide undead attack dogs.
  
  While not a main focus of her studies she has learnt a lot of medical knowledge and makes a remarkably good healer. The cantrips of binding flesh and sinew don't really care if the subject is alive or dead so she's a reasonably good medic. She might even work for... leftovers.
