DRAMA. Lazarius is prone to starting his own drama, but sometimes he truly needs some help getting the party started. As a creature of the night, he knows some of the worst people. For his own amusement, it's not uncommon for him to push buttons until he gets a reaction - however, there are still secrets from his own past, in his own club, that would be better to remain indoors and under wrap. No doubt, internal and personal problems are immanent. |
RELATIONSHIPS. If it's not obvious yet, then it will be soon: Lazarius is a bit of a player. Not to say he isn't capable of developing feelings for another individual, but usually they kept on the down-low. Being as old as he is, and understanding the frailty of human beings (or at least non-supernaturals), he tends to distance himself from true, romantic, or deeply personal relationships. Needless to say, sometimes it's inevitable to care, to want to protect, or a little something more. |
CUSTOMERS & FEEDERS. This goes without saying. As an unlisted business, the simple mention or idea of Paradis Rouge may at first be a little uncommon. However, it is open to everyone so long as they are willing to adhere to the dress code. For those who are vampire and looking to get into The Underground, some form of roleplay with Lazarius (be it an interview or running into him above B1) to have a bit of an application-style runaround. He doesn't let just anyone down below, and there are rules. As for everything above, it's fair game to visit no matter human, vampires, werewolf, or otherwise. However, he has a strong distaste for anything magical or paranormal taking place in the presence of non-supernatural folk within his establishment. |
EMPLOYEES. This goes without saying as well! The Paradise Rouge is looking for employees of any and all kind, again no matter the species. The current openings are weekly singers and musicians, two managers (one for A1, the other B1), a host for the ground floor and dining, several chefs of any kind or expertise, and of course - bouncers, waiters and waitresses. The only thing you need to do to get these positions (and I won't limit how many positions are available except for A1/B1 managers) is contact me on RPR or through Discord, show me your character, and we can figure things out. Easy-peasy! |
PAST CONNECTIONS. Being over 260 years old, you're bound to run into other vampires or other beings that tend to not die off when it's convenient. Not to say this is limited to bad personal relationships from the past, but they can be from any time between 1750 to more recent years (the past 80 being in Las Vegas, NV). For those interested in having an older and more personal relationship with Lazarius, just message me and I can slip you some secrets that only a few people would know. This also includes bad break-ups, enemies, etc. |
ENEMIES. Come on, this one is easy. Lazarius is a diva and a bit prejudice when it comes to some werewolves and even other breeds of vampires. Back in the Las Vegas location of Paradise, he held strict rules and had dark secrets of his own that complicated many relationships and made him plenty of enemies. This goes for hunters, werewolves, and of course, those other types of vampires who may see him using his powers and wealth to better himself as selfish or dangerous. |
ROMANCE. Slow-burn, angst, drama. It's all in one package so you better be ready. Obviously, right now, I am not looking for someone for Lazarius to settle down with or even fall in love with, but seeing how chemistry works out between characters, he may develop feelings for them or something down the road. This may not be strictly romance, it can also be sheer lust or something more along the lines of possessiveness or at least the urge to protect. He is more of a sexual being than he is a romantic, even though he is fully capable. |
VULNERABILITY. Listen, it's difficult to have a rough and complicated guy like this open up to anyone without completely trusting the individual. From the get-go, he is a very pronounced and confident man and will not let down this guard after a few drinks. However, with just the write amount of attention, plotting, and chemistry, I am willing to have this character finally open up to someone. This may go hand-in-hand with romance, but I thought I might clarify that 99% of the time, he's not exactly the most down-to-earth and kindest man. |
BITING & TURNING. It his not his desire to bite or turn anyone and avoids drinking directly from human beings without the express intent on killing them afterwards (so let's leave it to the poor NPCs, huh?). Due to complications in his past that he will most likely never fully open up about, he avoids turning others, raising his sired, or even dwelling on the notion of having familiars. Groupies don't count. |
DUB-CON ACTIVITIES. That should be a pretty obvious, don't you think? Lazarius doesn't use his persuasive powers to explicitly seduce and rape people, it's more to get his way out of a situation or convince non-supernaturals to see something that isn't there (often known as occlumency) during his shows. He does not kill, brainwash, or torture without express consent from the other writer and/or it's planned between said writers. Rape is an absolutely no. |
