• Biography

  Alexandra was born and raised in Ul'dah: Her mother left her father when Alex was only 3, and in his depression turned to booze (and other substances). But Alex was still the bright spot in his otherwise dreary life, and he vowed to help her have a better future than he expected for himself.
  
  As a Brass Blade, her father indulged her with combat lessons so she could always fend for herself, and when she was a teenager, he used his connections to get her a job at the Platinum Mirage casino as a hostess. Being one of the taller girls, and one of the few actually versed in fighting techniques, Alex soon found herself acting as a guardian, even bouncer, for the other girls.   A Lalafell man she first thought was another high-rolling gambler took notice, and hired her for a night to be a bodyguard and escort: one who was pleasant to look at as well as capable of defending him should he need it. The man was none other than Teledji Adeledji, owner of the Platinum Mirage and member of the Syndicate.
  
  Alex later joined his retinue as one of his bodyguards, enjoying the prestige of the job and the benefits it gave her. Although her position made her privy to several secrets, she was not aware of the plot against the Sultana, nor was part of his escort the night he made his accusations against the Warrior of Light and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.
  
  By this luck, Alex was able to slip away in the chaos that ensued. She took up residence with her godfather--an alchemist friend of her late father's--allowing her to lay low for a while so memory of her association with Teledji Adeledji would not come into question.
  
  Now, she has started her life anew: trying to find jobs as a bodyguard for hire, never allowing herself to become loyal to a house or person so she can rebuild her reputation and climb the social ladder of Ul'dah.
