• Biography

  Hope Van Dyne is the daughter of Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the original Ant-Man and Wasp. when she was a child, her parents left on a "business trip" which in fact ended up being the mission that caused her mother to go "subatomic" and disappear into nothing. In the midst of her father's grief, he sent her to a boarding school. their relationship suffered greatly because of his bad parenting and his emotional negligence towards her. as a grown up, she referred to her father more as Hank than Dad. Hope constantly fought for her fathers attention and to get recognition from him. When he recruited Scott Lang to be Ant Man, she felt swept to the side. she thought he didn't believe in her. Their relationship stayed the same until he finally told her the truth about how her mother died and why he didn't want her to be in the suit. He wanted to protect her. Once he finally opened up to her, they were able to properly bond emotionally, causing her to actually care for her father. Hope is very intuitive and intelligent. She works fast and she's very sassy and straight up. She doesn't like taking orders from other people unless it's for a mission. she does what she thinks would work best.
