| ➣H I S T O R Y ▪ Castello d'Chervaine was built by the architects guild by decree of then king Farrimond Desrosiers three centuries prior to present day. It was constructed to both house and honor his wife, Chervaine Couteau, whom the king greatly adored. She had a fondness for gazing into the sea, thus the castle was constructed with a far-reaching sight of the harbor. | ➣L A Y O U T▪ Castello d'Chervain was designed to host a panoramic view of Lyupria for its residents. Half of the structure faces the sea, the other allows visibility of the surrounding gardens and parterres. The gardens pay homage to the Desrosiers heraldic device (to be expected) a rose. The architects guild designed the castle itself to bridge "sea and flowers." |

| ➣G A R D E N S ▪ As the House of Desrosiers is named, it can be expected they grow roses amongst other flora in no small measure. A testament to their rich cultivation of the romantic flowers, an expansive garden of 50 acres swaths the grounds. Paved with ornate stone walkways which are swept daily, the gardens are a pleasant and fragrant place for deep thought and pondering. Artists find their muses here, the smitten take their beloved here. Once, it was not open to the public, but the Queen Chervaine convinced her husband otherwise as she had an open heart for her people. | ➣I N T E R I O R▪ Queen Chervaine was one for intimacy and gatherings, thus the rooms of the castle were designed to encourage mingling and general socializing. The inside reflects the aesthetic of House Desrosiers, lined in red walls and gilded decor. Patrons of the arts, it is not uncommon to pace a hall lined with paintings and carvings of painstaking effort. The parlor receives guests on the castle's first floor, which also leads into the kitchens for hastened refreshment service during social affairs. |
