  Centuries ago, the Seriin councillor betrayed the Foziin, murdering him and framing the Notharan for the crime. This betrayal sparked a war between the three clans, during which the councillor worked in secret to formulate a disease that would wipe both other clans out. Thanks to the intervention of one of her scientists, the disease was corrupted and rendered mostly ineffective, but the damage was done. The Fozii set off a device inside the planet's core, and in hours their homeworld of Tath was ripped apart from the inside out. What few people made it off the planet alive were left stranded and wandering.
  The Seriin colonised a new world of lush jungles and water. Mortified at their councillor's actions, they devoted themselves to the pursuit of peace, hoping to never again cause such horrifying destruction. Over time, they built a massive circular city of white stone, at the centre of which they placed a massive music hall. They stripped the weapons from their ships and re-purposed them. The ships themselves were reformed, and eventually became sphere-shaped vessels with powerful shields and thick hulls, filled with medical and scientific equipment. The Seriin themselves seemed to mostly carry on the genes of Siralya, one of the last survivors of the Schism, resulting in them rarely growing to even 4'6" in height.
