• Biography

  Mirtis'Khav's species are muscular and very tall. Sangheili have leathery skin covered in many part by scales. They have forward-facing eyes with vertical slits and horizontal eyelids much like those of terrestrial reptiles, giving them high-resolution central vision and depth perception. Their jaws are quadruple-hinged, with an upper jaw and four lower mandibles arranged in two tiers. Sangheili smell with the use of two nostrils, each slightly in front of and below the eye socket. Given their predatory nature, a Sangheili's sense of smell is likely very developed. Their hands are tetra dactyl, each having two fingers in the middle and an opposing thumb on either side. Their legs are digitigrade, with short upper and lower legs, and elongated tarsals, using the distal and intermediate phalanges to support their weight when walking. Sangheili have a binary circulatory system that pumps indigo-colored blood. They breathe oxygen and their homeworld has a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere comparable to Earth's, allowing them to breathe the same atmosphere as humans.
  
  Mirtis'Khav was born at Bhedalon. Bheladon is mostly ocean and a fortress world for the Sangheili. Bheladon held military and political power in the Covenant. The Covenant being a religious hegemony of multiple alien species that controlled a large portion of the Orion Arm in the Milky Way Galaxy. Mirtis began training at 7 years old which was common among Sangheili and was raised in a communal environment. Mirtis didn't know the true identity of his father as he was raised by a maternal uncle instead as Sangheili culture believed that family status could prevent proper individual growth of skill and create uneven footing for the rest of the children. Mirtis excelled at Energy Sword combat which lead him being admitted to the Special Warfare Group to join as a Spec-Ops operative. As a Spec-Ops operative Mirtis spent many battles behind enemy lines killing high valued targets and providing intelligence to Field Generals that were operating in his area.
  
  Mirtis was admitted into Ministry of Fervent Intercession as a Zealot for proving his loyalty to the Great Journey and the Prophets. The Great Journey is the mission of the Covenant becoming Gods through the use of the Halo Array. The prophets lead the Great Journey as religious leaders. Leading up to the Great Schism; a divide between the Sangheili and the Prophets, Mirtis learned of the true nature of the Halo arrays from Sesa 'Refumee's broadcasts. Mirtis knew that Sesa learned his knowledge from the Oracle 343 Guilty Spark. Mirtis watched as his fellow Sangheili were stripped from their high positions within the Covenant and foresaw him being replaced by the Jiralhanae, a large ape like species known for their loyalty and vast amount of strength. He took his fate into his own hands and stole a DAV-Class-Light Corvette; little did he knew that the Corvette had an experimental Slip Space drive that was created by Yanme'es, Lekgolos, and Huragoks from a mixture of Covenant and Forerunner technology. Upon leaving High Charity(Covenant Mobile Holy City.) and activating the Slip Space drive aimed towards the outskirts of The Solar System, looking to defect from the Covenant.
