• An underground boxer with a bad reputation, Beck's living his best life. Or, well, it's the closest he'll get to one at least. He's not just known for his ability to kick ass, though, as word has it he's one cold bitch. Standoffish, smart-ass, and difficult to work with. In which... the rumors are true. He doesn't care to appeal to the general public, as the fans he's gained over the years from boxing are fine with the ruthless kickboxer he is. Aside from those nasty rumors, nothing much else is known about him. He enjoys living his life in secrecy and has a strong distaste for prying eyes trying to get in on his personal business. He keeps his normal life separate from his work life and that's how it'll stay.
  
  He's very cautious with who he lets into his tight circle of trustees because of that. You can call it to trust issues, he doesn't care - he just doesn't want to waste his time with people who'll end up being someone completely different in the end. It's happened quite a few times and therefore has constructed a stone-cold exterior, just so he can keep himself sane and safe. He can actually be quite the emotional and open man if you manage to wittle him down enough. However, he keeps everyone at bay and refuses to let anyone close to him, so he lives his life in perpetual loneliness save the few one-night stands and whatnot.
  
  Beck grew up in a rough household. A drunk of a mother who never put verbal, mental, and physical abuse above her, and a father that booked it when his mother's drinking habits got bad. As a kid, he was weak and susceptible to everything his mother would deal him, though of course over time it ended up turning him into the distant man he is today. He had to learn to fend for himself and protect what is most vulnerable, thus how he eventually got into fighting. It took off from the occasional scrape on the playground in fourth grade, to full-on fist-fights in high school, and now professional boxing. It's a way for him to channel in his inner angst and release it onto his opponents, and he's known to be quite ruthless in his expertise.
