Biography
Growing up as an only child, Marlowe had experienced lonliness more than most children. While her parents were busy working away, the girl was left with a nanny who would rather focus on her own needs more than the childs. Often ignored or mistreated, the child had never thought much of it, having always sought comfort in being alone. Yet, human's still crave attention, such as the girl did. Even with this being her life, Marlowe had found many ways to stay happy and positive through the rough patches that had come and gone. To most she was a quiet, rare beauty, but to a select few she was on a completely different spectrum. Strangers had always thought of her as an introverted character, mostly keeping to herself and sharing polite nods instead of speaking upright. However, whenever she's alone, Marlowe is quite the performer. Unknown to many, she always had a gift for the arts. Performing, singing, dancing, nothing was beneath her. The only thing that kept her from pursing her talents, was her inability to speak out and stand up for what she wanted.
Marlowe had hailed from a wealthy family. Her parents were business owners set on spreading there names to places all around the world. This meant they had traveled a lot, but the never did forget about their only child. While they were away, the planned school lesson's for her, topics focusing on math, business, languages: they were setting her up to be the 'heir' of their company. Except, their daughter was not happy with this fate, she wanted something different. Though Marlowe is a peace keeper, a pacifist. She never believed in arguing or petty needs, confrontation was a fear of hers. A 'people-pleaser' is what most people would call her, but she always saw it as being polite.
Yet, politeness has to end somewhere and with Marlowe, it did.
Now at the age of 23, the girl was ready for marriage, for children. Her parents had taken the liberty of arranging a marriage for her, which hadn't settled very well with their child. Marlowe instantly went into a frenzy, screaming and begging for them to finally let her take control of her own life. But of course, her parents disagreed and the last thing she could really do, was run away. -
Personality
Although quiet at first, Marlowe is very friendly, so she often finds herself in the company of very different people. She's a rather selfless person, always willing to help others, without hoping to get anything back. However, this is one of her flaws. On top of being: Fearful, overly trusting and her desire to escape reality, Marlowe could easily become a victim or a martyr. She is characterized by empathy and expresses instense emotional capacity, thus making her susceptible to pain and heartbreak.
On a lighter note, she is very intuitive and has an artistic talent. She is deeply connected to music and other performing arts, as they came easily to her as a child. Along with her passion for music, she is: generous, compassionate and extremely faithful and caring. Marlowe is naturally a caregiver and always had the best intent at heart, even if her motives come off as strange or overbearing.
To add to her caring nature, she is never judgmental and is always forgiving. She is also known to be quite tolerant of all people, which is a blessing as much as a curse. Of all things said, she sounds like the perfect human being, yet beneath the soft exterior lies a darkness. Marlowe has experienced pain that most may not quite understand and while it is greatly hidden inside of her, the madness that lines within her spirit always remains at the back of her head.
