History
Marius, the oldest of three children, had grown up with a rather simple lifestyle. He was spoiled beyond belief, loved and adored by everyone who had met him. If he asked for one thing, you could count on him getting at least twenty of them. His parents were the owners of a large trading business, which you could imagine had them away from home quite often. However, they loved their son and Marius and his two sisters, of course loved them in return. Every moment they had gotten was spent together, albeit it wasn't often. Yet, they remained with that familial bond throughtout it all. Really, it was the perfect lifestyle for the perfect children. Until one day, it wasn't any more.
Returning from church, the servants of his manor had all been sat down in the living room, waiting for the children to return home. There was a light in the boy's eyes, his parents were returning on a four month long trip. It wasn't until he saw the teary eyes of the servants that he knew his dreams were crushed, his parents had died. In that moment, the childrens world had crashed and burned in a matter of seconds. Being only fifteen, there was only so much he could do. Which left him with the decision to either continue his parent's line of work or to sell the business. It wasn't an easy decsion to make either, with no other family left, it was up to him to raise his sisters. He could never count on his staff to take the responsibilities on their own.
Though, despite the many people who had shown an interest in the business, Marius had pushed them all away. He wasn't ready to give up his parent's legacy. Let alone give it to someone he had barely known. For the next few years, the man had studied, went to a trade school, even graduated from a university in hopes to be able to further what his parents had started. His obsession had no doubt taken a part of him, but it was only a small price to pay in his eyes.
The one thing he hadn't told anyone though, was that on top of his business training, he was also taking courses in self defense, fighting, anything and everything that could be learned to protect him and others. While the news of his parents death was known by all, the real reason behind it was only enclosed to a select few. One of such, being him. Marius, knows that his parents were murdered, which only makes him want to get even.

Personality
Marius is a passionate and assertive man. He is determined and decisive, and will research until he finds out the truth of whatever it is he's searching for. The man is a great leader, always aware of the situation and also features prominently in resourcefulness.
Although he has to appear headstrong, Marius lives to experience and express emotions. And though emotions are very important for him, he manifests them differently than others. In any case, you can be sure that he will keep your secrets, whatever they may be. To add to this, the man loathes revealing secrets about himself and other, as well as dishonest and passive people.
Even so, Marius is known for his calm and cool behavior, and by his mysterious appearance. People often say that he is rather fierce, probably because he understands very well of how life is played. To add to his more positive side, he likes: Truth, facts, being right, longtime friends, teasing, and a grand passion. Marius hates dishonesty and he can be very jealous and suspicious, so he needs to learn how to adapt more easily to different behaviors.
