• Biography

  Legends say, that atop of the mountains to the east of the town Erstonia, within the somber caves lives what could be considered the last dragon this realm may ever see again. Of course some say this is merely but a work of fiction, as everyone knows that these fire-breathers went extinct long ago. With them taking all chances of any kingdom using them as assets in wars. However, this has not stopped anyone from seeking out this dragon. As years pass the wars grow bloodier, leaving nobles and monarchs to seek aid from the ludicrous fairytale of Baesemion of the Ironskin.
  
  It is rumored to be a creature whose sheer size is to be feared, being larger than the palace of the country's rulers. The dragon's scales are a ruby-red color; accentuated with a few spots of a darker red mostly around the abdominal region, spine and tail. Aside from the eye-catching shade of red, what's well-known about his scales are their durability. It is said that no weapon has been able to pierce through them. It's where the nickname of "Ironskin" originated from. The impenetrable armor is complimented nicely with the creature's flames which are said to be able to melt through stone and steel.
  
  With the dragon's aid one shouldn't have many obstacles left as the beast is nearly unstoppable; however, it's not an easy task getting the dragon to do your bidding, for a dragon is not a slave. Few are those he has deemed worthy of his aid. How does he go about choosing whom is worthy or not? It's simply really. If they survive being scorched by the raging dragonfire, the creature will permit being ridden, and will remain by this person's side until the end of his or her days. Just because you managed not to be cooked inside of your armor or be burnt to ash does not mean you will earn the beast's loyalty without any sort of work. Baesemion is known to be extremely picky with his riders, even if they are “chosen”.
  
  The origins of the dragon have always been debated. For no one truly knows how it came to be. Some say the dragon was once a human, but was cursed by the gods for his greed, and forced to flee into the mountains with his many treasures. A similar story is that the dragon was once a fair maiden, who was cursed by a witch whom had an obsession with her, but she never returned herfeelings. Those are just some of the many stories told throughout history.
  
  No one is truly aware the creature is able to take human form.
