• Backstory

  Sydney is the youngest son, of 5 siblings, born to a local rancher in Silverton, Colorado. His father owned one of the largest ranches on the outskirts of the mining town. His ranch was prosperous and his family was well off. The people of Silverton looked up to his father and he often worked as a stand in deputy, within the town, when it was needed. His father was married to a woman from one of the founding families in the town of Silverton. She passed away giving birth to the second youngest child, a girl.
  
  Sydney’s mother was a call girl, at the time, that his father used to comfort himself during his grief. He was left on the doorsteps, of the ranch house, in a basket, after Sydney was born. While his mother wanted to raise him, her lifestyle did not allow her to keep her son. She placed a simple scrap of paper, inside the basket, with her son. The piece of paper simply had one word written on in terrible handwriting. Sydney His mother had been the one to give him his name.
  
  Sydney did not really get along with his older siblings while he was growing up around the ranch. His father had accepted the responsibility of raising the boy but there was not much love between them. The young boy spent his time learning how to be a ranch hand and tending to the horses. Sydney had a strong connection with the horses on the ranch and showed great promise as a rider. The young boy was also a hard worker which his father respected and granted him some respite from the usual hatred that made up his family life.
  
  As Sydney grew older he knew he wanted to become a Marshal. Sydney mostly taught himself how to handle firearms from a young age. His father showed him the basics about gunplay, in order to protect the ranch, but did not tell him much beyond that. Sydney could not stand people disregarding the law and ignoring positions of authority.
  
  Sydney travels around hunting down criminals who have broken the law. He became a Marshal after moving to the town of Tombstone in Arizona.
