• However, she's much taller apparently considering the length of her tail. With her tail, she's about 14 feet from the top of her head to the tip of her tail fins.

BODY TYPE: A natural swimmer's build to her torso, for obvious reasons. Naturally has larger breasts that she previously bound with whatever materials would work, but as of her capture, has been unable to do so and often has bare breasts. Her hips are wider, though this may be on account of her having a tail. Her hands are surprisingly delicate, if naturally always a touch prunde in texture due to her water-bound lifestyle. Long, elegant neck, deep-set regal collarbone.

If she were to ever show her human form, she'd have an hourglass figure, long legs, petite feet, and delicate hands.
POSTURE:

SKIN: Naturally a darker complexion with golden undertones. She can get slightly paler or darker depending on sunlight and care.

• If Serisea were to dry her hair above land, it would come to her upper mid-back in length, though considering her proclivity to stay beneath the water, it tends to just flow around her. If dried above land, comes down in soft waves, but again, water... Naturally a softer, warmer-toned brown. Bangs tends to part on the left side of her head and fall towards her right.

• She has a set of gills running down her ribs, each gill 'line' between her ribs.
• Seri doesn't automatically turn from mermaid to human upon getting out of water; It's a deliberate decision on her part to make this transformation, and it can happen above or below water. She has only changed a few times before her capture, mostly to keep in the practice of it, but has not done it since her capture.
• The 'quills' that make up her ears, shoulder fins, arm fins, hip fins, side fins, and tail are poison covered / tipped. However, Seri has extreme control over this more than a regular lionfish would; She can control how much, if any, poison is excreted from these areas; She used to try to poison her captors, but after almost dying, she's long since stopped attempting.
• Due to her being a siren, and out of fear of using her alluring voice to free herself, Seri's current captor often has a gag of some sort between her lips, often a rather crude ball gag; She's unable to take it off, as it is locked at the back.

• Naturally a caring woman with a big heart and a natural curiosity and adventure seeking nature. She wants to explore the world, but has often been stuck with her own tribe, and wherever they go, out of a desire to keep them safe more than to seek out her own adventure. Sort of the 'mom' friend in her tribe.
  
  As of her capture however, she's untrusting, paranoid, and terrified of humans. Once a woman who proclaimed that merpeople and humans should attempt to join one another in societies, she now has a deep fear of humans and their capacity for evil; Sure, merpeople have their issues, there are bad merpeople, but she deeply realizes and believes that humans, at their core, are an evil species. She's antsy, lethargic, and depressed since her capture.

TEMPER: Previously rather patient with children and the elderly, though snappy and sassy with those around her age group. Currently, she's just an antsy, paranoid thing constantly riddled by fear.

HISTORY:
A rather boring history that wasn't at all interesting or eventful in almost any way. Born to a warrior father and a teacher of a mother; Serisea's mother either left or was captured when Serisea was very young, and despite her father's warnings and obvious assumption that humans were the reason for the loss of one of his loves, Serisea seemed to grow with a natural interest for human culture and human made items.

Her father died when she was in her teenage years.

Upon coming up into adulthood, Serisea did not choose any mates, single or multiple, and simply focused on trying to keep her tribe safe as an educator, caretaker, and food gatherer; She spent her free time searching abandoned ship wrecks and nearby shallows to try and learn more about humans, as she was always one to present the idea that humans and merpeople could happily live together with enough effort.

However, at one point she became sloppy or distracted, perhaps both, and was captured by a passing fishing boat; She spent a few months on this boat, being used and abused by the fishermen before she eventually ended up on land, sold for a hefty sum of money to a traveling circus that happened to be passing by... The ring leader was, apparently, a collector of all non-human oddities wherever possible.

Serisea's been a traveling sideshow piece ever since, stuck so far from her home that she's sure she'd never be able to find her tribe again no matter the effort she put in... if she ever even found a way to escape her current situation, as abusive and traumatic as it is...
