Dhala is a tall and lithe creature, bearing proud, sculpted features and a disarming gaze. She has all of the hallmarks that characterise her race: sharp, pointed ears and a near otherworldly sense of grace and poise. From her head stretch two large, V-shaped horns, stemming from the crest of her brow and further exaggerating her height and imperious silhouette.

She has a narrow build with mild curves, tight, well-defined musculature and a modest bust. Her long limbs and somewhat lanky appearance belie an unexpected level of flexibility and physical strength. In way of tattoos, she bears several fine lines that flow down her body like dark water.

Dhala has an extremely traditional sense of style, favouring the lavish and colourful णऋए॔ (Ṇarié) that many Ṅkhya'jra'n women wear. She has long, black hair that falls below her shoulders whenever it is unbound, though it is normal to see it tied up into ornate and fantastical styles alongside a jewelled headdress of some variety.

Over the course of her life, words have become Dhala's weapon and she them weighs them carefully, balancing them on her tongue with a craftsman's care before releasing them untethered into the world. Proud and poised, elegant and witty, she reads the flow of a conversation as easily as a boat tracks the ocean's tide and she will adapt her behaviour accordingly. 'Cordial' is perhaps the most appropriate term for her, as it is a vague, almost meaningless descriptor; Dhala is usually pleasant - as it is in her interest to be so - but she respects herself and her task too greatly to suffer fools or oafish behaviour. Changing shades quickly, she can go from someone as lovely as Qahpta petals to one as cold as Oðæma's frost.

Dhala has the outward appearance of someone who has had it easy in life - but like her patroness Q'Tam'šmă, she wears many masks, each one depicting an entirely different story.

The Sakaori family are members of the landed aristocracy and Dhala was born in a small, coastal province in the western Heart region of Tam'nýer—a', just outside of ॠध​ऊञ​ई · Rīdhaūñaī. As the second of three children, she lived much of her early life as the perennial 'middle child' and although Dhala was undeniably gifted with beauty, she was considered unremarkable alongside her sisters.

As a child, Dhala found escape from the pressures of her family name by delving into the world of myth and divinity. In school, she would eagerly sit at the feet of her teachers as they recited the truth of the world and the sorrowful sagas wherein the lands and sea were created.

She was an ordinary, devout girl that obeyed the customs and cultures of her people. She taught herself the traditional dances and she scratched childish things into the trees outside her home. She made friends and gentle memories. In essence, her youth was simple, peaceful - and yet life could not remain so forever. Her greatest passion, theology, was a noble pursuit but a Duke's daughter was expected to take on a greater share of duty than mere study. This was made quite clear when Dhala's father took her aside one morning and gazing out across soft, lapping waves in the bay, explained that she would be moving away. *see more in Student tab

A scion of a wealthy noble family, Dhala has been dispatched to the Sakaori estate in ढघण (Dhaghana), ostensibly to oversee her family's business in the area. The Sakaori family have recently became involved with mining projects in the Throat region, particularly invested in those around valuable seams of precious Qanzoe metal. Dhala has been tasked with overseeing her family's investment, as well as brokering favourable trade agreements.
