    Religion: She was brought up staunchly Catholic, she tries desperately to hold herself to the same standards, but is somewhat less solid in her own beliefs.

    Complexion Fair, though she flushes easily around the cheeks.
    Scent: Black Tea and Honey, and often times like baking bread or wildflowers.

    Handedness: Naturally left-handed, but she has been forced to use her right hand her entire life. On account of this, she has messy writing, and she can sometimes seem uncoordinated. Because of this, she thinks herself stupid.


    Abilities: Cooking, sewing, cleaning and other household duties. She can answer telephones and is meticulously organized, she has a knack for bureaucracy, and also for logic puzzles. She is really quite smart, though she gives herself absolutely no credit for this.
    Weaknesses: She is socially awkward and timid. She struggles with self-confidence, Catholic guilt, and a fear of the unknown.
    Personality: Livie is a quiet girl, timid, meek, and hesitant to speak up be it to ask for help or offer input. She is hyperaware of propriety, though at times she does not hold herself to it, she often considers these moments as personal failures. She is insecurity walking, she doesn't seem comfortable in her own skin. Many people find her mousy though, underneath this exterior of anxiety, propriety and prudence, there lies a remarkable young woman, that she seems almost terrified to become. She is far smarter then she gives herself credit for. She has a cunning eye for details, and the perseverance to slog through hours of research. She is capable of great bravery in important situations, and for someone who seems to live in a constant state of anxiety, she is a fairly cool head in a crisis. At her heart, Livie, is a curious, gentle soul, who likes to do right by others and be of help.
    Likes: Reading, her employer, the thrill of stepping outside her comfort zone though she's often afraid to take that leap. Warm baths, animals, children, baking, quiet uneventful evenings. Dancing.
    Dislikes: She is extremely uneasy about change or trying new things, but often loves those things once they've come to pass. Sleepless nights, confrontation. Feeling useless or stupid. Feeling unprepared.


    Family: She was orphaned early in life by her parents, a Banker and a housewife when they died in a tragic house fire. Her care and the wealth of her parents were inherited by her Uncle Reginald, a pious man who was meant to look after her and see her through to marriage. Instead, he kept the money for himself and sent her to a Catholic boarding school hundreds of miles away. He levels control over her using the fear of god and the pittance of an allowance he gives her, and he resents her employer for encouraging her towards freedom and thinking for herself.

    Olive was born into a family of moderate means, had tragedy not struck so early on in life, it is quite possible Livie's life would have been quite different then it is today. Her Dad's job as a banker brought in comfortable finances for the small family and would surely have provided a generous life for his young daughter and wife. Sadly, there would be no such fortune smiling upon them. It was not to be.

    In what were surely suspicious circumstances, Livie's parents died when she was only seven years old. A fire started in her childhood home while Livie played in the back pasture. by the time she'd seen the smoke in the distance, it had been far too late. She returned to a home burned to ashes, and her parents cruelly taken from the world. In a blink Livie was alone, everything had been taken from her.

    Her parents were planners though, they'd put away enough money for Livie to live comfortably off, and they'd seen to it to appoint someone they trusted to guard that fund and rear young Olive until she was old enough to care for herself. They picked her Father's Brother, a man of wealth and fine breeding and the only relative left alive. Uncle Reginald was blood, so he seemed the obvious choice, but unfortunately for them, Reginald as not as he appeared. The moment he got his hands on the money he shipped his young charge off to Catholic Boarding School. He hoarded the money to himself and spent lavishly, meanwhile giving Livie only a pittance to live off of. He tells her it is because she fails to be as godly and devout as her Parents would like, he tells her she is stupid and would spend of frivolous things if he were to give her the money freely. She accepts this, unaware that he is behind so many of her miseries, blinded to it by her upbringing.

    Recently she has taken a job to make ends meet, as she has no marriage prospects or money of her own. She has hired onto a detective agency, answering phones and assisting her employer with his work and household duties. Will she find her calling here? And perhaps unravel some of her own life's mysteries along the way?
