Biography

• Early Life
  
  Born into a wealthy family as the product of show-cat breeding, Kai was meant to take over her ageing mother's role as her kind's equivalent of competitive modelling. Instead, Kai found herself fascinated with the workings of the world. As a child, she would take apart remote controllers, her brother's RC car... And, she refused to fuss with dresses and makeup.
  
  This led to the distress of her human owners, who decided to send her to an all-girls human reform school. Here, she was harassed for her feline features and overly curious personality. It was after a friend helped her break out at the age of fifteen, that she fled to America, after having heard of heavy support for demi-human equality. She had come to imagine Seattle to be a safe haven, where she could aspire to be anything she wanted.
  
  Kai had come to suffer the harsh reality of the real world on the streets. Shunned at every turn. Barely getting enough help to survive. By the generous hands of another house cat living just off the city skirts, Kai was taken in and cleaned up by a Mia Ross, living under the guardianship of a human named Tracy Ross. Her adoptive mother. Kai was taken in and treated like family. Introduced to Mia's friends. Life made an upward turn.
  
  The world was merciful to her in the years following, but the five years following were filled with self-destructive thoughts fueled by an anxious mind. With the addition of self-discovery, in the form of her abnormal sexuality. Not only had Kai discovered her interest in girls, sexually... she'd also come to love her saviour- Mia... had become a focus of Kai's love, and her deepest affections... Naturally, they snuggled and often did most things together. "We're both girls, so it's okay." But knowing Mia's own preferences, these moments had tugged and tore at the rescued cat's heart... Anxiety would never allow her to come out to her family when it meant losing her relationship with Mia. Those sisterly interactions were her happiest moments in life.
  
  As friends started college, and they began to see them less and less, Kai's anxiety ate at her every doubt. This is all temporary. They're disappearing. There is no chance at happiness. Her mind tormented her, with the thoughts of losing everything she had- loved ones tiring of her; family discarding her, or even finding out what desires she'd been hiding. Seeing life to only hold rough roads down from a peaceful time, Kai in the end took her own life, at the age of 20. She had never come to achieve her aspirations of a career in engineering. Electrical or Software. She had never come out to her family. She had never reunited with her mother and brother. She had lived her final years torturing herself.
  
  Her suicide note took the form of several documents on her phone. All that was left on its memory card was pictures of cherished moments, and a folder of documents which had all been titled for the intended recipient. To Tracy, a list of thanks, and a will for what money she had tried to earn to pay her back for her charity. To Mia, a note of all of her regrets. A note that told her how much she respected her. How important she was to her. The bravest thing she left behind, was a confession too late, admitting her feelings for her sister figure.

  Reincarnation - Pavisnea
  
  Kai had woken to a cold world. One that had been unkind to her, in finding shelter. She'd woken to find her reflection in a puddle- She had made immediate attempts to finish herself off a second time. No matter what she did, her skin would heal faster than she could cut it. Throwing herself off a cliff, she had barely experienced pain, and her body refused to bend or mangle.
  
  Scared in this new world, she was approached by two gods. Creators of this world, that had taken her poor soul and put it in an unkillable body. One that could be more widely utilized to serve the world that they had built.
  
  It was after a year of complete lack in productivity, or motivation to even get out of bed that the two gods decided to do something about her lethargy... The two gods toyed with the world she had come from until they had managed to kill Mia off as well, pry her soul, and stuff it into a body as they'd done with Kai.
  
  In this world, Mia helped Kai- helped heal her emotional wounds. Revived a glow in her. It had been an entire personality revolution, that had changed her entire perspective on life, until Kai's self-reflective body had decided to project a more confident, and unique appearance.

  Reacreation
  
  After Kai had come to find her new outlook on life, she found a whole new lifestyle- one of confidence, and appreciation. She'd used her immortality to reunite with her loved ones- though it was hard for them to accept her revival and even harder to accept her new appearance. Not only had Kai come to entirely change her outlook on life- but her confidence... genuinely changed her actions. She asked Mia out and took her on that first date. Through almost a decade together, she later proposed to her as well.
  
  She has become a role model, and a protective figure to her new family in Pavisnea, and made herself more active in her family with the Rosses. She realized her dream in engineering and came to inspire others suffering from anxiety. She still struggles to make connections and go out of her way, but Kai doesn't want a single other person to suffer what she did. To needlessly suffer, and even consider taking your own life, out of delusions your mind won't let you see past. She cares for those around her deeply, even if she struggles to show it through meaningful communication.
