  • * Something a lot of people who try to play Japanese characters in European settings don't understand that their idea of a 'Samurai' comes from very modern concepts of them, not historical ones. Anime like Rurouni Kenshin take place during the Meji Restoration post the 1860's, and the characters within are not good models for Japanese culture in the 1500's. Likewise, Bushido isn't a thing for Samurai from the Sengoku Period as well.
    ** I am here to RP. I am not here to flirt with you. I'm not interested, plain and simple. The quickest way of getting ignored are by flirting with me or flirting with me through my character.
