Vikram Song was born Song Liu-Wei on 30-1 x968 in the [#rd] ring of the Orbital Spacecolony Rho-12 of Resh, before moving to Earth 446 for schooling.
A prodigious scientist and avid marksman in his younger years, he earned a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree and Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology at Qor University, subsequently funded several biotech companies across the galaxy, and made a name for himself most recognizably as one noted colleague of Dr. Thalissa Orin, developing sequencing services and cloning technology at the oft-controversial Gemini Laboratories; many of these projects are still being made public.
Song led a withdrawn yet affluent lifestyle on Earth 446, appearing to campaign for the Galaxy Human Rights Foundation and various charitable organizations. He was known for a wry sense of humor and as a generous teacher.
He passed away on 22-9 x013 after an attempt on his life at his home.
He is survived by sister Richa Aiolfi-Song of Earth 446, and was preceded in death by SEN. Song Fei and Wu Di, parents, and Arti, daughter.
Services and burial will be at the family's convenience. Requiem Aeternum is assisting.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Galaxy Human Rights Foundation, or to the research of Gemini Laboratories.
