Backstory

• The life of Kat

  Kat was born in a wonderful island near the Carribean. She was raised by her father, her mother having died in childbirth. She never understood the reason why her father didn't like her so much, he hit her and insulted her daily, never showing any concern for her well being. She grew up there until she was around 5, her strange appearance too unusual for them to stay there any longer so he moved to America, Kentucky.
  
  She was practically homeschooled for how much time she spent feeling as if she were at school and was locked in her room with a bad laptop to do all her research and work on when she was at home, she soon became incredibly intelligent and learnt about many things, beginning to shape her mind and thoughts but of course she could never speak to anyone else to confirm these things other than when she was sent out to get shopping and beer for her father. She never spoke to anyone, silently living out her hellish life of abuse her father gave her. The worst part she... no, they found was that they didn't feel right... They had learnt they were genderfluid and preferred neutral pronouns but their father always called them by female and when they tried to correct him they were only hurt more...
  
  They spent their mornings and evenings in the windowsill, staring out at the world beyond and wondering what it would be like to explore or talk to people, they never really spoke to anyone or at all... Would it be nice? Would they be able to find the thing their book called 'friends'? What would it be like? Kat had never spoken to another person in their life other than a few words to their father, they was kept isolated in a room as school to learn away from the other students per his request.
