  • Helena's Past

    Helena Anastas was born April 25, 2001 alongside her twin brother, Alec Anastas. Her mother is Japanese and her father is Greek, so she grew up in both countries interchangeably. As a child, Helena was extremely shy and had few friends. Though, she found comfort within drawing. No matter where she was, she always seemed to have a piece of paper and something to scribble with. Years had passed, and she and her brother had just finished college, when Helena was offered a job as a cover page artist for a large newspaper in New York City. Elated, she and her brother packed their bags and flew to New York, saying good bye to their parents and the only places they’ve ever lived. Together, the twins live in their average sized two bedroom apartment. Her brother established a coffee/bookshop in New York City, and with their shared income, they’re able to live a pretty luxurious lifestyle for New York City, with their cat, Yoshi.
