• Description

  Basic Appearance
  Bright, gleaming feathers of a fiery mixture cover a lithe yet well toned body. A hardy beak of crimson, narrow and sharp, decorates the face giving the bird-like creature an armored mask splashed around four bright eye slits. Slender tear-drop slits rest near the base of the beak in place of nostrils. Feather plush does little for the male's slender form, effeminate in a way. Tight chords of muscle tones lengthy feathered arms ending in sharp clawed hand talons. Wide hips and powerful thighs give the avian monstrosity a pear-shaped body alongside a frighteningly impressive run speed and jump height. Powerful legs are feathered halfway down, giving way to thick scaled limbs and powerful talons. Each foot is armed with a thick, sharp sickle-shaped talon on a natural spring-lock system used for evisceration. A duo of tails sways behind the male, each ending in a massive and unique plumed feather mirroring its twin.
  
  Attire
  Oz often wears his mask and shemagh combination where ever he goes, and hardly feels the need to remove it as he can still eat since it does not cover his beak. His favored clothing is a bland black robe which cuts off at the thighs, which he calls a "half-robe." His thighs are often bound in dark red cloth, his hands much the same. Around his middle rests a belt which supports leather straps that run down to thighs and support a small satchels belted tightly to either thigh, often cushioned by the red cloth for comfort.
  
  Armor
  Oz's armor is meant to fit well over his standard, everyday attire and variations thereof. A ceramic helm rests over his shemagh, a slot at the top rests on the mask he wears and straps are buckled beneath the beak to prevent the heavy thing from falling off. His torso is guarded by a ceramic plate with a raised and sharply angled chest to guide thrusts off to either side and away from directly impacting the plate, a neck guard is built into it. shoulders are much the same. Thicker arm guards are secured to the forearms with matching shin guards to the legs. A Tasset of thick cloth with ceramic plate or scale inserts is worn around the hips to protect the thighs and hips, as well as to partially protect the scaled lower legs without obstructing movement. Due to the lightweight nature of this armor, Oz's back lacks protection from the chest piece, the armor's leather straps and buckles are found here.

• Ozran's Selection of Gear

  Darts and Tube - No Ekrani would leave home without their life-long childhood friend. Mr. Tube and Mrs. Dart and her seven toxic children. Eight darts in total. A twenty foot range with decent accuracy when used correctly. This can apply a number of poisons though is most commonly used with paralytics and Ekrani Bloom. Oz's favorite is the Ekrani Bloom despite dedicating over half of his darts to paralytics and tranquilizers. 3 Paralysis darts, 3 Sleep darts, 1 Ekrani Bloom dart.
  
  Glaive - Most scouts use spears or other pole weapons. However, a glaive has a shorter length while still offering a similar advantage. The length of the weapon is split almost evenly between hilt and blade. The handle measures at nearly 40% of the length with the blade at nearly 60% for those who desire to know the exact measurements. While the Ekrani often use spears and slender lightweight weapons to apply poison, Oz' figured a custom Glaive would be much easier to handle during his travels. Using a method of cloth-application to apply poison across the long blade also eases the treatment process. However, this does dampen the effects that a carefully treated spear tip or dagger could apply.
  
  Ceramic Scout Armor - Lightweight and thin half-plate ceramic armor. The quality is some of the finest available, and an Object of Earth is placed within the breast plate. Runes carved into the bottom of each piece link the different components to the main chest plate. During the day, broken components will slowly mend themselves passively, but not during the night. Unless the Object of Earth is removed or destroyed, the armor can piece itself back together over time.
  
  Poison Smokebomb - Oz never leaves home without one. He is most comfortable with, what he calls, a spice bomb. Breathing it in is quite harmful. It also affects the eyes irritating them and stinging at them. Temporary shortness of breath strikes when breathing in the smoke, causing dizziness and coughing fits in extended exposure. Eventually, the victims will fall unconscious. A wet or moist rag can filter the toxic flakes giving the smoke a rather bitter taste.
  
  Dagger - A steel dagger in, what the Ekrani call, a Wicklewood sheath. Wicklewood is created from a specific tree-like plant by stripping it of its bark and burning the log while treating it with a unique coat of lacquer sealing the sheath. These Wicklewood Sheathes hold venoms, toxins, and poisons without issue and keep the blade's application fresh for long periods of time. Most Ekrani are always armed with daggers that have poison applied to them for self-defense, Oz's is no different as it makes its home with a powerful paralytic.
  
  Poisoner's Kit - A standard kit for Harvesting and creating poisons. Small vials filled with anti-toxins and anti-venoms come included. Some tool are included for simpler poisons. However, there is no alembic, mortar or pestle included as Oz tends to scavenge for tools to mix and grind on the spot and primarily focuses on simpler poisons.
