History:
Aspen Falk will jokingly say that she is what you get when the son of generations of Get gets with a tiny Italian woman. Born a premature runt, Aspen was raised having to prove herself over and over again, having to work harder and longer than her fellow cubs. Her father, a giant of a man and a Garou, was ever her stern mentor and guardian, even moreso upon the untimely death of her human mother. He taught Aspen to make up for her small form with fighting smart, looking for an enemy’s weaknesses as opposed to utilizing brute force. Add in the fact that she was the first female child in a long line of male Garou Get of Fenrir warriors, and Aspen had her fair share of being underestimated by more traditional members of the tribe. It was hinted to her several times throughout her life that she should elect to join a different tribe when the First Change came, but her father was insistent she was worthy of being among the ranks of the Get.

At age fourteen, Aspen’s First Change arrived, and one of the cubs who had liked to tease and torment her ended up with a few nasty scars. And so, Aspen undertook the trials to become a true member of the Get of Fenrir. While the young Garou had most certainly passed, there were those that took issue with her methods, utilizing cunning and exploiting her opponent’s weaknesses. Some of the tribe elders saw her tactics as dishonorable. In the end, however, her resilience and refusal to retreat spoke to the honor that the Get so highly valued, and she was accepted as a true Get of Fenrir. Even so, since then, Aspen has continued to have to earn her place time and again, still having to prove the legitimacy of her acceptance into the tribe. Her inclinations towards compassion and mercy have also not helped her reputation. What cannot be denied, however, is that Aspen Falk’s dedication and outspoken nature have made her a considerable presence within the tribe. And for all that she is underestimated, she is not easily intimidated.

Over the years, Aspen has gained a rather interesting reputation. To those outside of the Get of Fenris, she appears the very definition of a successful underdog, someone who proved their worth despite a mountain of doubt. While her father takes great pride in his daughter, Aspen still finds herself in opposition with many of the more traditional members of her clan. They are free to do so. Aspen has resolved to serve the Get of Fenrir to the best of her ability with or without their favor, even as she strides to mend the many burned bridges they have left throughout history.
