Brinista

Brin' suffers from enchantment sickness which is caused by either the binging overuse of one's own magic consistently over time, and/or the excessive exposure to the unstable magic released during enchantment's chemical processes.

The symptoms occur only during magical usage:
Lung compression; shortness of breath, coughing blood.
Stomach ulcers and sloughing; vomiting blood.
Increased heart rate and irregular palpitations.

Passive abilities are those that affect Brin indefinitely:

Her wool is cool to the touch.
Her skin is warm to the touch.
She can sense brewing storms.
Storms are the only way to recharge her magic.

Prehensile Aura (Wind Manipulation)
Brin can control her aura and by doing so can "extract" information from the metaphysical auras of other characters by touching her aura to theirs. This extraction varies from character to character but often includes information such as magical status, elemental affinities, species, power level, etc. Powerful characters can force her out of their aura, of course, via dice roll if desired.
This level of control and sensory is passive and requires no additional magic.
Brin can also, however, utilize her aura to influence objects and characters in the physical plane. This refers to defensive or offensive actions to physical characters, and/or moving objects without touching them, etcetc.
This level of control does require additional magic.

Brin's magic also leaks through when she is at high emotional states:

When severely angered or when using high amounts of magic:
Black rolls into the blue of her wool, eventually painting all of it black.
An electrical current can be seen (and felt) as tiny jumps of electricity spanning across her skin and wool.
The sound of distant thunder can be heard by those in her immediate vicinity.
Her eyes glow an electrical yellow and are infused with sparks that consume the pupil.

When severely sad or depressed:
Her wool takes on a blue-gray colorization and is moist to touch.
Her eye-color changes to blue.

When flustered:
Her cheeks take on a warm yellow glow.
