Biography
(Please note that the supernatural portion of Ryo’s backstory is optional, and unless we specified doing a supernatural roleplay, will NOT be incorporated into the main story in anyway.)
Ryo's past is far from a silent one. He has, for as long as he can remember, been catholic. He doesn't know either of his parents or what happened to them, as he grew up as an orphan his whole childhood. For Ryo, his childhood was a tough one to get through. Though, given he was living that way his whole life, he doesn't really see anything wrong with it. He was a very silent and distant child, before his biggest problem had even occurred. He was diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD)at seven years old. This made him distant, cold, and uncaring to those around him. It was clear that the disorder threw him, and others off strongly. While he enjoyed speaking to people as a child, he always thought the best part of it was the benefits he'd get simply by faking a smile and agreeing with what others said. Most all of his relationships were artificial as a kid.
Ryo's location is a bit convoluted. His ID's say he's American, and he went to college and was a professor there, but most of his information now says he's from Japan. It's safe to assume he's a Japanese-American, and grew in both places. Likely raised in Japan, graduated college and university in America, worked there for a good while (perhaps five or six years), and then moved back to Japan. Ryo is a traveler though, and it's very rare to see him in one place. While Ryo is around more often than not, don't be surprised if he suddenly pulls up to wherever you are, telling you to get in his car. His job usually involves him being payed to do things that....may or may not be totally legal. He might need someone to help him out. He's constantly on computers talking to people, getting connections. He knows he'll need them to keep himself secret, and might drag you into it without a second thought for your safety, especially if you're not a very good friend of his.
There is another part to Asuka's personality that he's been reluctant to speak about. A part that he's been keeping silent for a very long time. His study in the anti-Christ. Ryo claims constantly that he is a very passionate catholic. But even at the mere age of 10, Ryo had been more interested in the lower term of being, the devil. He is currently studying the way to get Devil's, terrifying creatures that normally aren't seen in the mortal realm, to successfully and harmonically merge withe body of human being. He is much more passionate about this than any god-figure, and has even grown to resent this figure with time. Ryo spend a lot of his private time with Devils. His personality is constantly changing, as the reckless and self-destroying mannerisms of the underworld seep slowly into his mindset. He may grow more violent and malevolent as time goes on, and his body becomes exactly what it is he's trying to create.
