but not in the traditional storytelling ways.
Not yet, anyway.
xxxA weather worn, earth touched, black leather-bound journal. It hides many secrets belonging to its owner, but none are yet written on page. These stories are smeared with dirt across the binding where many times touched by gripping hands, and by idle pieces of grass, or the stray leaf that carried with it when picked from the ground. Several pages are stained, crinkled, from having been left wet from rain, or even stranger things: like ice. The edges are frayed, as if singed by fire, but still good.
