In the 1300s Calvin was born into a royal vampire family. He was the result of his mother's affair with an Angel and the first son to be born in the family. She kept the affair a secret as her cruel husband would have killed her unborn child as a mudblood couldn't rule the kingdom destroying their royal family bloodline. After that, Calvin had multiple siblings. It's unknown as they were the love children of other men or the king himself.
Calvin grew up to learn about grace, elegance and on the top of all, cruelty, they were demonic beings after all. But curious enough, maybe because of his celestial blood, Calvin was kind, gentle and caring to anyone around him.The young gentleman soon met a beautiful young lady, a princess from another kingdom, who he fell in love with and soon engaged. Their love story was soon ended as the girl found out the truth about him. She considered him a monster, a blood drinking beast.
Calvin was nonetheless broken into pieces as his fiancee left him disgusted and terrified. The years that were to come, he chose to turn off his humanity as the pain he was feeling was hurting his heart too much. He became what his father would've wanted, a beast. He soon ran away from his home, leaving his kingdom behind. From the "Soon to be King", he became "The Lost Prince of Aurum". He travelled the world killing anything he wanted and drinking any blood he desired.
His biological father continued to watch over him, as a Guardian Angel until he got tired of seeing what God would call "character development". He got down on Earth and brough the old, sweet and caring Calvin back.
In the present, he has his humanity back and is back to being his kind, gentle self. He opened up an antique shop next to his house, where he sells jewelry and artifacts he collected throughout his journey on Earth. He always welcomes people into his shop, inviting them for a coffee or tea.
