Pretty Face, Pretty Dress
The young doll maker stands at a bit of a below average height. He has dark red hair with slightly wavy ends, always tied up in some way with a frilled ribbon. His pale blue eyes still hold a glimmer that he had since he was a child. His cheeks and nose are tinged in a rosy pink, in stark contrast with his porcelain skin. The entirety of his right arm and his left leg is made of plastic and some wood—prosthetics with functioning joints which can be controlled by him freely by using magic.
Fashion wise, he normally wears clothing closely resembling attire from the Victorian era such as suits. Muted pastels, purples, grays and wine reds are common colors he wears. Other times, he goes for a more lolita style with laced blouses, stockings, lace up boots and bows. His absolute favorite thing to wear are vests.

He Can Be Anything!
At a glance, Salem is widely indifferent towards other people. He’s a shut-in who pours all of his time into designing and creating his dolls. Coupling that with his vaguely standoffish demeanor makes him seem a little eerie. Despite this, he shows hospitality and even warmth towards customers, as well as people who actually have interests in dolls (he does especially well with little girls or boys). Deep down he tries his best to be kind, be brave, and poised just like his friends. But sometimes, he just can't help it... he's changed, and he knows it. Despite what other people think, it's for the best, it's how he'll fit in with dearest friends.
He sees humans as terribly flawed. He'll never admit it out loud, he wouldn't want to scare anyone away with his very serious allegations.
