• Description

  Born into a small middle class family, Athena has worked hard too get good grades. They never had much in the way of money but her parents sacrificed a lot to put her and her younger sister into private school. Things were alright but then her father passed away when she was twelve.
  
  The years were hard, Athena essentially stepping up to become the 'man' of the house. Still focused on getting good grades high school was a different beast. Establishing early on she was mean, most people avoided her except for a select few.
  
  The trend continued into college, only letting a few closer enough to see the real her. Athena uses sarcasm and rudeness to deflect most away, even those she was crushing on because it would've been frowned upon. She found a passion for athletic training in high school so she decided to major in it in college.
  
  The coursework and hours were grueling, getting up at 4 a.m. to be at practices, then 8 a.m. classes, maybe a break for lunch, then labs and more classes finally ending with a game. Life was hectic and yet it was worth it to Athena to just be close to the she liked. But she knew he would never like her, she wasn't his type.
  
  Graduating after four years, one of two seniors with a bachelor's in science for athletic training, Athena moved on with her life. Forgetting about the football player she had a crush on she went and got her license, put herself through technical college for massage therapy, and got that license as well.
  
  Now that she has two jobs she loves, Athena is looking to branch out and connect with people. And some of her friends have ideas on how to help her.
