  “I’ll make sure nothing happens to you.”
  
  As a faithful familiar, Fig has laid dormant for centuries within a small, nearly decrepit shrine that is long forgotten within a towering redwood forest.
  
  Familiar’s like him are tied to a single person, and although time easily separates two souls in an inevitable fashion; he lays in wait that the ‘one’ will always find him once more, no matter how long it takes.
  
  Once awakend, it is common for Fig to barely recognize the soul that finds him time and time again; and once fully awakened his prior memories of past lives slowly piece themselves together, and he then remembers what usually is swept away by time.
  
  It is a grueling pattern of events. Finding his Lord/Lady, only to be ripped apart by time over and over again, left to wait for their return. It seems after every separation, it takes them longer to find him again.
  
  But Fig waits, and believes he will always be reunited.
