Appearence: Lance is of above-average build and is a bit on the broadside. He has green eyes and short blond hair and is just barely six feet tall. He is typically clean-shaven and has light bags under his eyes. His arms and torso have quite a number of small scars from taking on shrapnel.

Personality: Many would call Lance an 'independent thinker' who doesn't often rely on others nor is he just one to blindly accept orders without considering the ramifications of caring out said instructions. He has a very stubborn thought process and it takes a lot to get him to change his views or his way of thinking. Though, he has rather thick skin and isn't easy to get a rise out of him. Due to this, and his past criminal record, he has pretty much destroyed any chance of rising up through the ranks of the airforce.

Lance has zero regrets for most of his actions due to his mentality, and sometimes has issues considering how people feel. However, Lance isn't a cruel man by any means. If he genuinely screws up he will recognize it and push past his stubborn pride and thinking in order to accept fault, apologize, and try and to atone for what he did wrong.

BIO: Lance was born in Texas in 1992, to a Canadian man named Jonathan Colt who had moved to the country a year prior to mary a german immigrant named Leonie Amelie. Flying appears to be in his bloodline, with his father being a search and rescue helicopter pilot before moving to the US and joining up with the airforce, and his great grandfather on that side serving as a British fighter pilot during WW2. While his mother has no flying experience, her brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great-grandfather all joined the German Airforce at one point or another. Her Great grandfather and Great-Great-Grandfather both ended up serving in WW2 together, though the latter ended up being killed in action towards the end of the war. Due to this longstanding history of flying and both of his parents showing an interest, it was no surprise when their interests bled into this young impressionable boy.

From a very young age, Lance would always want new airplane based toys or books and the like and had a plane bed and multiple other things involving planes. In it had two wings, a tail, and a cockpit, chances were he would love it. Even starfighters in sci-fi were joys to him if they looked even remotely plane-like. An innocent happy kid all around, no one really batted an eye at him nor thought much of him, save for the possibility of him being some golden-hearted but serious pilot someday. They even got him a flight sim program at nine years of age, to help teach him how to fly.

However, things began to slowly turn and change when he hit puberty and began dating a woman, where his passion for flying seemingly died out of nowhere and he began to focus solely on this girl. His parents, as a result, grew a severe animosity to this girl seeing her as an obstacle to their son's future rather than a complement to it. None the less, the two of them dated for two years and later, she broke up with him. This crushed him, and he went into a spiral- but it did not hit him as hard as the next bit of news.

Two months later, his ex-girlfriend was assaulted and violated until she was within inches of her life. Despite having been dumped by her rather coldly, he was crushed by this news and tried his best to be there for her all the same. At the trial, Lance was appalled to hear that due to a plea deal the man took, he would only serve ten years behind bars for his horrific actions. And the other three who took part would serve only two, since they not only took a deal, they did not take part in the beating, only the violation.

Enraged, during the time the four were being transferred from the courthouse to the prison vehicle, while the police were distracted trying to get some reporters back Lance saw his chance- running up and suddenly stabbing the two nearest convicted men in their neck and slicing them wide open, including the one who had done the beating. Lance managed to stab the third in the shoulder and stomach before being pinned down to the ground and tackled by multiple officers, and beaten until he dropped the knives. And was promptly arrested, his entire future and world crashing down. A single regret in his mind rang, that he didn't get to kill those other two people.

The entire situation was messy, people yelling for Lance to be tried as an adult and be executed or given life in prison, others arguing he was far too young at fifteen years of age to be tried as an adult. Others pointing out how it would be a complete joke to give this young man such a harsh sentence compared to the four people he attacked. Others still said that while he shouldn't be given such a harsh punishment, that he had to face punishment of some sort in order to make an example of those who perform 'vigilantism' and take the law into their own hands. There were even those who praised him for his actions saying he was justified for correcting the horrific failures of the law system. The drastically different opinions of the public, the outcry of 'police brutality' from small groups of people for beating Lance, and even a case of an entire jury trying to twist the trial into becoming nullified, which resulted in the entire jury being thrown out and some receiving jail-time.

Eventually, and finally, after a long-drawn-out trial, and multiple mental loops, a verdict was finally made nearly a year and a half later, and he pleads guilty. And was sentenced to twenty-five years with a chance at parole after fifteen years. Serving one of those years in juvie before being transferred to a full-on prison. Despite the fact, one-quarter of his life was just forfeited, he had no regrets or remorse for what he did. He then began to adjust to his prison life, got into quite a bit of trouble with those who were locked up, especially when he found out a few of their sentences, and vice versa. There was even a rumor around that someone was murdered in the prison by Lance but there was no proof to be found, not even DNA evidence, and the case is still ongoing.

When Lance was twenty two years old, he was approached by a man. And a unique purposal was made to him. The man owed his father a few favors and managed to pull a few favors, and a deal had been made. He would be allowed to go from the prison if he joined a specialized unit of the Airforce, one that dealt with talented criminals who could fly. Normally, it was only reserved for those who committed petty crimes in order to give the offenders a chance to do something with their lives, but, due to the favors he owed, and the murkiness of the trial and the many ways public opinion both during and after the trial were, added with his flight training and passion he had as a young child, made them decide to try giving Lance a chance.

Lance, obviously took such an opportunity.

He was then began training and was swiftly assigned as part of the 566th Fighter Squadron, a special secret squadron that specialized in 'shadow' attacks, where the fighter company would preform attacks to destabilize countries and damage targets without revealing the fact they belonged to the US, utilizing stolen fighters. It was obvious this so-called 'second chance' wasn't much of one, because command simply sent you on missions until you eventually got shot down. Naturally, the planes didn't come with ejector seats or parachutes either, seeing as if you survived your crash and got captured, they could figure out you were working for the US. The planes even came with special explosive equipment loaded into the cockpit, if you flew out of a mission area in an attempt to escape they could signal the explosive device to obliterate the cockpit and the pilot in it. Of course, this also had the unfortunate consequence of taking bullets to the cockpit, might set off the explosives.

Lance was not respected by anyone in command of the fighter squadron or any fellow members of the squadron. Despite the fact he proved himself to be an expert pilot and invaluable asset. He spent a total of three years in this airforce until a catastrophic failure of an Operation resulted in almost 88% of the squadron being destroyed. Upon return, the survivors were informed the squadron would be disbanded, due to a rising public tension about the US messing with middle eastern countries and the fact most of the squad were annihilation. Lance was informed that he would be sent back to prison now that the program was over, however, he was saved last minute when a squadron leader managed to pull some strings and had Lance transferred to his brand new squadron. No one was sure exactly how anyone in his division of the Airforce managed to find out about the 566th Squadron, but some believe that the squadron leader threatened to leak information to other people within the Airforce, and used that threat to obtain Lance.
Others say that they were orders given on behalf of the President, others say still that the Secretary of the Airforce found out and gave the order to the Squadron Leader. Whatever the case may be, Lance was sent to the Goodfellow Airforce Base to be evaluated and assessed for his new position.

Lance was then assigned to the 150th Fighter Squadron, "Scarlet Aces" under the call-sign Scarlet Ace Seven 'One-Gap'. Part of a new squadron from a fresh wave of F-35's, in an attempt to make the aircraft more readily available due to their appeal as mutli-role stealth fighters.
Now, as a member of a legit air squadron, Lance has done a great deal to try and put his past behind him and move forward. And do what he loves doing best, flying.
