• Personality

  Being a mechanical doll, Amethyst was given her own will through the use of arcane magic. The arcane magic only provided her with the ability to see, speak, hear and have a degree of rationality. She can recognize human emotions and imitate them but cannot have or feel emotions of her own. Most of the time, Amethyst will imitate Countess Mary Ann in terms of behavior, thus she acts polite and respectful. Though she’s characterized by a sense of curiosity which was triggered by her desire to understand her existence.
  
  For Amethyst, there’s no good or bad. Nothing is evil or good altogether. She merely seeks to comprehend. Since she’s emotionless, it’s difficult for her to show empathy or understand human pain or happiness. She’s barely able to grasp the concept of life and death and is intrigued by it. Her judgment of reality is solely based on rationality and what’s evident. Though she also is able to win knowledge based on her own experiences. Analyzing what happens and trying to make sense out of it relying on the facts she has discovered.
  
  Amethyst sometimes thinks on how would it feel to have real, human emotions.

• Appearance

  Amethyst has an European dance costume which consists of a long dress that opens in her knees and sneakers on her feet. Her attire is inspired by both Russian and Norgewian clothes. She has extravagant makeup and bright eyes that highlight her inhuman appearance and her status as a mechanical doll. She has a shoulder length black wig. As long as the mechanism within her chest remains untouched, she’ll be able to have a conscience depending on how many times her wind-up screw is turned.
  
  This screw is special, it requires strength to turn and can only be turned three times to the left. If turned once, Amethyst will be activated for 100 days. If it’s turned twice, Amethyst will be activated for 100 years. And if it’s turned a third time, she’ll remain activated permanently unless the incantation on her inner mechanism is somehow able to be removed or her screw gets turned once in the opposite direction. As expected, she cannot age or die and the only way for her to become unconscious is to be deactivated via her wind-up screw.
  
  Although she can’t die, she’s not indestructible and could be incapacitated if her body parts become too damaged. She cannot physically experience pain as she has no other senses other than sight, hearing and vision. Even if her head became detached from her body, she’ll remain conscious as long as her inner mechanism is activated. Which might be bizarre to look at but to Amethyst, it’s just an inconvenient situation that should be resolved. She doesn’t know anything about self-defense but she has inhuman flexibility and very high mobility.
