    • Demon: Though Dirk's Hishu and Urhan form are intimidating his other forms turn him into the thing of nightmares. His claws are barbed and his fangs are like daggers. +2 Brawl in Dalu, Gauru, and Urshul form.
    • Cryptid: Like most monsters Dirk has only ever been seen by humans at a distance and always seems to be out of focus. +2 Stealth when outside
    • Pitch Black: Dirk's dark eyes actually hinder his version, but who needs to see when you can scare? -2 to perception rolls, but +3 to any intimidation rolls.
    • Geryo Strain: The reason for Dirk's deformities is something called the Geryo strain from his unintentional contact with one of the incredibly dangerous Geryo. His mind remains crisp, but every time he shapeshifts his deformities increase just a little. Though he could seek out magical remedies that would make his eventual mental deterioration increase at a faster pace. Each time he shapeshifts I'll roll a d20 to see if it affects him. Eventually if no cure is found he will have to be killed...

  • Storyline

    Dirk puts on a brave face and lashes out at others, but truthfully his disease frightens him. However, he has accepted his eventual fate and has no intention of wasting his life searching for a cure or hiding in his humid form and living a "human" life when Uratha were destined for a greater purpose. In spite of his cavalier attitude he simply wants to make connections and make an impact before he is in all likelihood put down by his people.
