• Posthuman-Novissmus: The latest evolutionary state of the human species, a product of over one thousand years of tinkering with the Homo sapien genome and techno-organic machinery. These blue hued, green-eyed beings operate with minimal independence, adhering to the OneMind Engine as their complete identity. They are a dominant faction in the Star System whose reach expands across galaxies.
  
  The OneMind Engine: With the convergence of technology and man, the individual subconscious emerges through a hive mind nexus, adopting the famous moniker, "WE ARE ALL ONE." The individual's self is limited only to the basic functions of their host, however, a higher ranked Novissmus has been shown to retain quirks and unique personalities behind closed doors...
  
  The Fragmentius: The official term used to describe Posthuman-Novissmus' who haven't assimilated into the OneMind Engine. They're an amalgamation of human biology and experimental machinery. Fragmentians are also called 'Fossil Units' because of their outdated physiology, and are treated as second class citizens in Novissmus culture. While the root of their name often defines these people as a community, there are many that have banded together to form a semblance of democracy.
  
  The Emerald Trader's Guild: A space merchant organization run by a delegation of free, spacefaring Fragmentians. This trading company is popular across the Star System and a valuable commodity for many communities.
