Moon Su-jin

SHAPESHIFTING: Although primarily seen as human, Su-jin and his ilk have the ability to shift between human and bird, as well as anything in between. However, that doesn't mean he can create extra limbs (such as wings as well as arms).

FLIGHT: As bird, he's fully capable of taking flight. Has he done it much? Debatable.

HYPERAWARENESS OF MAGIC: Su-jin is able to detect when magic is being used near him, whether it's an active spell or passive glamour. Shapeshifting is harder to detect unless it's also a Corvidae. They always know their kin.

COMMUNICATION: This is more akin to reading and communicating their emotions than actual communication.

DIRECTION: Su-jin is quick to learn and grow accustomed to his surroundings, and is able to fairly easily find his way home.

EXCEPTIONAL MEMORY: Although somewhat forgetful, many things will remain in his mind, especially if they are things he is passionate about. He's known to hold a grudge.

MIMICRY: His particular subspecies can hone their natural talents to the point that they can fool all but the keenest ears...and some lower quality recording equipment. They can learn to mimic both natural and mechanical sounds.




EXCEPTIONAL MEMORY: His memories can be so vivid that they engage various senses. They have the potential to become more akin to hallucinations than simple memories. This can be pretty awful and overwhelming depending on the memories in question. Topics of abuse can be rough for him because of this.

FLIGHT: If he's unable to fly for a while, his depression worsens considerably. How he reacts depends on where his mind is at.

HYPERAWARENESS: His hyper awareness can be a massive distraction, and can lead to paranoia. Usually, though, he just gets overstimulated and needs to seclude himself for a moment.

FRAGILE: His bone density is quite low, and he's had numerous broken bones throughout his childhood as a result. His vocal chords also tend to become damage when he speaks too much. This is only really a problem when he's speaking Korean for the time being.

COMPULSIVE: Su-jin finds comfort in moving. Recently, he moved from his home in South Korea to the US, so that impulse to move has been sated for the time being.

MAGICAL INABILITY: He's unable to perform any magic on his own, but he is fully capable of using enchanted items if they fell into his hands. Su-jin is fine with this, as the concept of magic is a little overwhelming for him to personally use.
