Alistair and Mathias

Alistair and Mathias Reese were born to Effy and Damien Reese. The catch is that while Effy is a perfectly normal if slightly eccentric human woman, Damien is actually a demon in disguise. Specifically, an incubus. Seeing as their father is an incubus, naturally the boys are too. Their mother is fully aware of this fact and doesn't judge her boys for the fact that they need sex to live. While their father taught them how to use their incubus powers, how to control them and when it's appropriate to use them at all, Effy taught them about love, hope and helping others. Damien's brothers also instilled quite a bit of their knowledge onto their very first nephews. They learned the art of diplomacy from their Uncle James. They learned to never lose their childlike enthusiasm from their Uncle Matthew. They learned to fight so that they could defend themselves and others from their Uncle Holden and they learned to take care of and value their appearance from their Uncle Erik. Their maternal grandfather even chipped in to give the boys music lessons, rounding out their already significant education.

Whenever they weren't being taught something by someone, the Reese Twins spent most of their free time riding horses around their parent's ranch, trolling the local bars for girls or actively plotting their next prank. There really was no amount of trouble these boys weren't willing to get into and as such both boys had long, identical juvenile rap sheets before they finally turned eighteen.



When they came of age and finished their education, their father offered to help bankroll their first financial endeavor, whatever it might be if for no other reason than to give them something to focus on so they didn't end up in actual prison for the rest of their unnaturally long lives. To the surprise of many save for their own parents, the boys were of two minds as to what their focus should be as they moved forward into adult life. Alistair wanted to open a demonic store, where supernatural creatures of all kinds could come to find things that are otherwise unavailable in the mortal realm. Mathias wanted to open a sex shop, because of course he did. The boys argued about it for months and very nearly came to blows over it several times. Finally their mother sat them down and provided the obvious solution that they had both been too stubborn and pig headed to see. They could either go their separate ways or they could work together.

After another week of deliberations, their decision was made. They'd stay together. They would always stay together. As such Mathias' sex shop became the legitimate front for Alistair's more clandestine work. As always when the Reese boys worked together they found they could do anything. Admittedly Alistair does the books for both shops while Mathias focuses on marketing and their social media presence. Together it seems as if they're an unstoppable team.
