Swade Hawkliér

Swade was born into a wealthy family in France, the eldest son of three to his parents.
His family was well known and extremely influential as it held the family secrets to many types of magic.
Swade refused to use magic as a child as he believed that it gave him an unfair advantage in fights against those who did not have it’s blessing. This lead to his family rejecting him, and eventually him running away.
He joined a group that planned to overthrow the magical hierarchy residing within France, but they failed, and it lead to him and his co-conspirators being captured and tortured for information for around a year. Swade was able to escape but his friends weren’t so lucky, and were killed in their own separate escape attempts. He left France and headed to America to start over with a fresh slate.
Swade became an international fugitive after he liberated thousands of magical prisoners from a prison and destroyed the building they had been trapped in.
He remains on the run from the law, travelling from country to country and trying to help anyone who is persecuted by the crooked law system
