  • Detailed personality

    During the day, Chenor is generally sleepy. He'll sleep almost anywhere, anytime. He generally doesn't like getting involved with people, and generally seems aloof and uninterested in most things. While it is true that he pays no mind to many things, his lack of energy makes him seem a lot more uncaring and cold than he is in actuality.

    He is actually quite observant, able to remember things very well (despite the fact that he cannot remember his past), and also able to read people's emotions with surprising accuracy. He's able to understand others very well, but doesn't generally feel like opening up himself. Aside from his tiredness, half the reason he's quiet and seems indifferent is that he, while able to understand someone's emotions, has a feeling of uneasiness when it comes to talking to people.

    Despite this, at his core, Chen is a playful and affectionate person if you manage to warm him up. He likes teasing others to see their reactions, and once he does open up to someone, he can be a little whiny in terms of having their attention. He's actually quite affectionate and touchy-feely to those he trusts, and is quietly passionate about things like baking. He can be hardworking and quietly encouraging towards his teammates. He really does care for those around him, but tends to show that in a very quiet way. He hates any rough physical touch.

    "...I don't remember anything."


    Chen's father was a demon who tempted his mother-- He was the demon of wishes, and spent the night with his mother. His mother was the wife of a priest whom she was routinely beaten by. She summoned the demon, according to the priest, to engage in unChristian debauchery. Regardless of what happened, Chenor was born nine months later. He had black hair unlike both of his parents, so the priest beat a confession out of his mother. Chen was not given a name until much later in his life, although his mother called him Cyrus.

    Upon learning what happened, Chenor was raised almost entirely in secret. He had the Bible preached to him day and night, forced to engage in purification rituals and take care of a lot of manual church labor. He was completely isolated from his older brother as well in fear that he may "corrupt" him, given corporal punishment if he didn't listen. However, he never knew anything aside from this, and did not usually oppose it.

    He sprouted wings and a tail when he was around fifteen, to the priest's horror. His wings were forcibly sawed off with his older brother prevented from helping. The pain finally triggered him to violently attack the priest (or whom he knew as his father). He was subdued within a minute or so, though, because he'd lost so much blood.

    In retribution, for his resistance and for his mother "causing a scene", Chenor and his mother were thrown off of a cliff behind the church to kill them. His mother is assumed to be deceased, as is Chenor, by the general community.
    His older brother committed suicide soon after.

    Miraculously, Chenor survived. The sea carried him until he reached land without any of his memories but with a lot of injury.

    An RP can be started from this point on (in which case his name will stem from a book he read)-- however, the story continues until he's 19. It can and often will change for RP, though, as it's fairly niche.

    He was taken in by a boy he didn't know, who was also around the same age-- eventually, he revealed himself to be a demon-ish creature as well. Chenor usually stayed at home (home being an abandoned apartment complex), eating the human meat provided and becoming almost an accomplice to his roommate's activities. He was given the name "Chenor".
