Description

Vên has a somewhat boxy face, with a sharp quality to it, born of a significant lack of proper nutrition over the past few weeks. His hair is a very dark brown color, starting in a slightly off-center widow's peak at his forehead and ending only a few inches later in ragged, split strands, as if it is was cut hastily out of necessity rather than style. He is extremely lean, but not particularly muscular, and he looks like he hasn't really seen the sun for a significant amount of time. He stands at approximately 5'9". His eyes are a dull hazel color, although there are flecks of green that hint that they might have once been a brighter shade.

His skinny body is clearly unused to hard, physical labor, although it is also obvious he hasn't exactly led a cushy lifestyle either, on account of his calloused hands. He has clearly seen better days, and the scars around his wrists might indicate that he has recently belonged to someone better off than himself, or perhaps still does. He wears a very simple and crude necklace made of a small piece of picture jasper suspended on a leather cord, almost coated in as much grime as he is, meaning it either holds some emotional value for him or might be the world's ugliest focus stone. Upon speaking to him, it becomes abundantly clear that he has had some form of education, though probably not by any fancy private tutors; more likely an extensive apprenticeship.
