Ruberta Ydle

Ruberta was born in a middle-upper class family, afflicted with mutliple minor diseases and allergies from birth. Aided by her self-proclaimed doctor father, years of self-experimentation would save her from her own fragility, at the cost of producing multiple mutations, taking her from a diseased girl to a odd ununderstandable mismash of an organism.

Developed or maybe triggered by the experiments, she grew to have allergies to nearby everything. Thankfully her own medical career (not so much her father's, if that career existed at all) has helped her develop large sets of pills that can keep her allergies at bay, as long as she does not have prolonged contact with the source.

Thing is, at one point her allergies stopped producing a regular reaction. Instead of the regular synthoms, Ruberta's mutated body temporarily transforms into monstrous creatures when suffering a reaction, which ranges from shameful to impractical to absolutely painful.

Currently working as a doctor, she finds pleasure in the harm she can cause people in the process of healing them. She manages to keep her job only because, to her coworkers' dismay, she seems to be incredibly talented at the end of the day. Defintely a something needed to compensate for her huge persecutory complex, jealousy and paranoia

Years back she met a man as spineless as herself, Nicholas Hanced, to who she ended marrying and adopting various kids with, something she often keeps more or less in secret in order to avoid being shamed. The reason why she finds this shameful once again originates from her own paranoid narrative.
